Amy Kreamer

Community Invited To Project Local s the owner of Whisk Café in Elizabethtown, Amy Kreamer values community. Wanting to collaborate with local businesses, she created Project Local, a vendor market that will be held on the first Saturday of each month, beginning April 2. The market will run from 1 to 4 p.m. on the grassy area and parking lot outside of Whisk Café, which is on the grounds of Masonic Village, 98 Masonic Drive. Additional markets will be held on May 7, June 4 and July 2. “I always loved the idea of holding an outdoor event on the beautiful grounds of Masonic Village,” Kreamer said. “Project Local is all about supporting small business by giving people a platform to

goods, Chocolates by Tina Marie and sandwiches and salads.” Local musicians will also perform, including Mike Steele in April, Corty Byron in May, Blessing and Fowler in June and Grant Bryan in July. Kreamer explained that vendors will vary at each market. “We have 25 more vendors that are interested but couldn’t participate in April, and the list is growing,” she said. “Plus, the music and food vendors will be different for each date.” She encourages everyone to come out for the market and enjoy a day to celebrate the community. “We will have so many talented makers, artists and small businesses,” she said. “Come out and support local.” For more information on the event, visit www.facebook.com/ etownprojectlocal.
