The Conoy Lions will hold an all-you-can-eat breakfast on Saturday, March 14, at the Bainbridge Fire Hall from 7 to 10 a.m. to benefit the Haldeman Mansion. Hope Within Dental is set to open on Wednesday, March 25, within the offices of Hope Within Ministries, 4748 E. Harrisburg Pike, Elizabethtown. Hope Within Ministries executive director Anne Marie McAlester said that free services at the dental clinic will be offered under the same eligibility guidelines as the free primary health care services that Hope Within Ministries offers to lowincome residents of Lancaster, Lebanon, and Dauphin counties who are medically uninsured. Each patient must fill out an eligibility application. Appointments must be scheduled in
advance by calling 717-367-9797. McAlester said that Hope Within has received requests from individuals for dental service for years, and she is thrilled to now be offering those as the need is great. “We hope to tie together the link between medical and oral health for people,” commented McAlester. Hope Within Dental program coordinator Tina Nissly, who has her Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner license along with her Expanded Function Dental Assistant License, said that initially the services available on-site will include comprehensive exams, Xrays, cleanings, scaling and root planing, fillings, extractions, and sealants. Carini Pizza Opens West Of Elizabethtown Sal Bellia has opened Carini Pizza named for his family’s hometown of Carini, Italy - at 1075 Turnpike Road, just west of Elizabethtown. Bellia is also the owner of Sal’s Pizza, which he opened in 2010 on Route 230, south of town. Bellia comes from a long line of pizza shop owners, and his family has been in the industry for more than 40 years. His father is the owner/operator of
P&J Pizza in Elizabethtown, and Bellia started working in the pizza shop business at age 15. “I wanted to better serve the Elizabethtown area by adding Carini Pizza to the west side of town,” Bellia explained. Carini Pizza offers the usual fare of pizza, pasta, subs, and salads, as well as wings and a menu for children. Sandwiches, rolls, marinara sauce, and pizza sauce are made on-site.
