The Mount Joy Chamber of Commerce will hold its chicken barbecue on Saturday, Aug. 21, and people have been eagerly anticipating the annual event, said Kerry Meyers, executive director of the Chamber. “I started getting calls months ago, wondering if we had barbecue tickets yet,” she stated. “People called the Chamber, and they called the library. They heard it sold out last year, and they wanted to be sure they got tickets.” The barbecue will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the rear of the Milanof-Schock Library, 1184 Anderson Ferry Road, Mount Joy. There will be options for drivethrough or walk-up pickup. The
