May was National Pet Month, and Mulberry Art Studios had put together an array of artists, vendors, treats for pets and their humans, rescue animals ready for adoption, and more to celebrate. Unfortunately, the second annual “We Love Our Pets” art show had to be pushed back and was rescheduled for July. July is here and Lancaster County recently moved into the green phase, but large gatherings are still not allowed to take place. While most of the studio’s spring and summer art offerings have been postponed to later in the year, owner April Koppenhaver and curator Stephanie Cole were determined See Art Show pg 4

the Marietta event have opted for the show to go on. “Even though a lot of places canceled their events, we really felt that it was what people need right now for morale,” noted Schatz. “The community needs this.” The fireworks display is set to go off on Saturday, July 4, at Marietta War Memorial Park, 344 E. Walnut St., at approximately 9:15 p.m. or when conditions permit. Last year, for instance, Schatz said that the show’s start time was delayed approximately 15 minutes due to heavy rain.
