Ronning is a member of the Elan Ensemble, with whom she plays piano. She’s joined in the group by Sara Male on cello, Peter Kenote on viola and Neal Harnly as composer and pianist. The concert repertoire will include pieces by Bruch, Beethoven and Piazzolla as well as some contemporary music. “Neal Harnly will premiere an original composition,” Ronning shared. “The piece is a lyrical song for cello, viola and piano.” She emphasized that the concerts are open to anyone, not just church members. “The community response has been wonderful,” she said.

Liz Garner, board member of the organization. “We’re always looking for fundraising ideas,” she stated. “Several years ago, we did a progressive tea, and it was very popular, so we thought we’d try this event.” She added that the Marietta Community House hosted an afternoon tea previously years ago. Proceeds from the tea will be used for ongoing maintenance work around the proper ty. “ There are always so many projects that need to be done,” Garner shared.
