Locally, several churches have scheduled Blessing of the Animals events, including St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1105 E. Lincoln Highway, Exton. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, Oct. 6, at 2 p.m. Each animal will receive an individual blessing and a blessing certificate. Treats will be available for all of the pets. “Pets are special to us. They can become members of our families, and they themselves are a special blessing in our lives,” said the Rev.
