Plant Sale To Feature Trees, Vegetables, Perennials And More Members of the Garden Class of the Woman’s Community Club of Uwchlan will hold their annual plant sale on Saturday, May 4, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the historic Uwchlan Meeting House, located at 5 N. Village Ave., Lionville. GPS users should enter Exton instead of Lionville. Offered for sale will be membergrown perennials, shrubs, trees, herbs, vegetables, annuals and more. “The
majority of the plants we have are from the members - mostly perennials from their own yards,” said garden class member Pam Halitsky. “There will be a lot of plants to choose from. Everything will be labeled.” She said that the club is currently promoting the use of native plants. “We will have quite a few native plants,” noted Halitsky. “We want to get people educated as far as planting more native plants for the bees, butterflies and birds.”
