Downingtown High School West Post Prom Committee will host its first designer bag bingo on Saturday, Feb. 22, in the cafeteria at the high school, 445 Manor Ave., Downingtown. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and bingo will start at 7 p.m. All proceeds will go to the planning costs of the post prom event, which is free to students. No tickets will be sold at the door. Designer Bag Bingo To Benefit DHSE Post Prom By Francine Fulton
A designer bag bingo to help finance the cost of the Downingtown High School East (DHSE) post prom event will be held on Sunday, March 8, in the cafeteria at DHSE, located at 50 Devon Drive, Exton. Doors will open at noon; bingo will start at 1 p.m. There will be 12 games, as well as a special 13th round to play. There will also be an opportunity to win gift baskets, and door prizes will be awarded after each game. Beverages and snacks, including baked goods, will be for sale; attendees may also bring their own refreshments. All proceeds will benefit the Downingtown East Post Prom Party. A Path to Hope will present its second annual Services-TherapyEducation-Providers-Support (STEPS) Resource Fair on Saturday, March 7, from noon to 4 p.m. in the library at Lionville Middle School, located at 550 W. Uwchlan Ave., Exton. Attendees will be able to meet with representatives from local mental health providers, take part in information sessions and enjoy a yoga/ mindfulness demonstration. Women Invited To Getaway Conference Church To Celebrate 300th Anniversary worship. Hephzibah Baptist Church is celebrating its 300th anniversary this year with a variety of special events, including musical concerts and church tours. Activities will also be featured during the church’s traditional May Meeting event, set for the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, May 16 and 17. Administrative pastor Jeff Haag explained that the May Meeting has been celebrated at the church for more than 100 years. In days past, it was See Church Anniversary pg 3
