church from 6 to 8:30 p.m. “It’s a safe, well-lit environment for families to come with friends and enjoy some free food and games,� said Aaron McNatt, pastor of the church. “The entire event is free. Every game wins a prize, and there will be lots of candy to go around.�

Carnival games were part of the 2019 Community Fall Fest at Wrightsville Assembly of God.

Attendees can enjoy carnivalstyle games and inflatables including a giant slide. “This year, we have something new called the Human Wrecking Ball,� McNatt said. “It will be a fun inflatable.� The event will also feature the Hellam Township Police and Wrightsville Fire and Rescue Company 41 on site with some equipment, as well as a petting zoo, hayrides and a car bash. “The car bash is really fun,� McNatt said. “ We have a car that’s donated, and we let people take three whacks at it with a sledgehammer.� Fresh apple cider will be available on site from Flinchbaugh’s Orchard and Farm Market’s apple cider press as well. COVID-19 guidelines will be in place at the event, and there will be hand sanitizer stations throughout the festival. “We encourage people to take safety precautions and use common sense when they come out,� McNatt said. “We will be doing things like setting up food in multiple locations
