Susquehanna Stage To Make Its Debut At New Arts Center

In a twist of irony, Susquehanna Stage’s first production in its new, permanent space at the Marietta Center for the Arts, 133 W. Market St., Marietta, takes place in a rented room. “Plaza Suite,” a comedy by Neil Simon, features four couples in three acts, each during their time in Suite 719 at New York City’s Plaza Hotel. “The last 10 years we had been in a rented space,” said Susquehanna Stage artistic director Jim Johnson. “We

Public Forum To Discuss Trails Concert Will Celebrate Love By Dayna M. Reidenouer
The hopes, wishes, and, yes, gripes of trail users will be heard at a public forum on Saturday, March 16, at the Columbia Crossing River Trails Center, 41 Walnut St., Columbia. Registration will open at 8:30 a.m., and the program will run from 9 to 11 a.m. Lydia Martin, director of education and engagement for the Lancaster County Conservancy, is also a member of the Pennsylvania Trails Advisory Committee, which is part of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), and she sits on several local rail trail committees. Thus, it seemed fitting to Martin that she organize a forum during which individuals and organizations can engage in See Trails pg 6
A public trails forum will be held on March 16 at the Columbia Crossing River Trails Center. Space is limited, so attendees must register in advance.
The Chamber Singers of the York Symphony Chorus will be present “Music of the Heart,” a concert celebrating love and romance, on Sunday, Feb. 17. The concert will begin at 4 p.m. in the sanctuary of Wrightsville Presbyterian Church, 205 N. Second St., Wrightsville. The Chamber Singers will perform love songs first heard on Broadway in “My Fair Lady,” “The Music Man,” “Camelot,” “Rent,” “Candide,” and other shows. The performance will be family-friendly and open to the public. A freewill offering will be received.

Christ United Methodist Church, 5 Main St., Yorkana, will host its next all-you-can-eat seafood fest on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 4 to 7 p.m. The menu will include steamed and fried shrimp, oyster stew, fried oysters, baked flounder, shrimp chowder, chicken fingers, french fries, coleslaw, dessert and beverages.
