LCHS Holds Homecoming BY ANN MEAD ASH
n Oct. 16, Lancaster Catholic High School (LCHS) held its annual homecoming celebration. The 2020 homecoming queen, Daica Perez, was crowned by 2019 queen Kat Sahd during halftime of the varsity football game against Juniata High School. The 10 LCHS homecoming queen candidates were Elizabeth Bomberger, Lauren Brommer, Ella Cassidy, Joanne Cybulski, Cecilia Deel, Gabrielle Kambourgolos, Raina McAnally, Erin Mohr, Daica Perez, and Sheridan Riva. Elizabeth is the daughter of Steve and Cindy Bomberger of Lancaster. At school, Elizabeth is a member of National Honor Society (NHS), Spanish National Honor Society (SNHS), Student Ambassadors, Respect Life Club, Garden Club, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Aevidum, Link Crew, MiniTHON, Fellowship Committee, and Women in Business. She plays lacrosse and runs cross-country.
attend college to study science. Joanne is the daughter of Bob and Suzanne Cybulski of Leola. At school, she is captain of the dance team and plays varsity girls’ soccer. She is a member of NHS, SNHS, Respect Life Club, Aevidum, Link Crew, Student Ambassadors, Service Committee, and Fellowship Committee. Outside school, she is a member of the youth group at St. John Neumann. After graduation, she intends to attend college to major in computer science. Cecilia, of Lititz, is the daughter of Jarrod Deel and Jane Smith. At school, Cecilia is a member of NHS, SNHS, FBLA, Aevidum, Garden Club, Equality for All, Mini-THON, and Women in Business. She plays field hockey. Outside school, she is an altar server at Our Mother of Perpetual Help, where she is pianist for the youth choir. After graduation, she plans to attend college. Gabrielle is the daughter of Tom and Cathy Kambouroglos of Lancaster. At school, she is a member of NHS, SNHS, Tri-M Music Honor See Homecoming pg 6
