The Ma & Pa Railroad Heritage Village at Muddy Creek Forks will offer a World War I Encampment from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4.

Re-enactors in authentic uniforms representing German, British, French and U.S. troops will camp on the museum grounds for the weekend. There will also be a larger static display of various World War I items.

While on the property, visitors may also explore the 1899 A.M. Grove General Store, the mill, and the grain elevator, where they will be welcomed by costumed docents. Hourly motorcar

train rides through the scenic Muddy Creek Valley will be offered, with separate fees for adults and for children. The last train will depart 45 minutes before closing.

The fourth annual MidAtlantic Allis Chalmers Tractor Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, and Sunday, Aug. 4, at Wertz Farm and Power Equipment, 6877 Lineboro Road, Glen Rock. This year’s feature tractor is the Allis Chalmers B. On Aug. 4 at 2 p.m., the MidAtlantic Allis Chalmers Club will hold its quarterly meeting. There will be a flea market area with some AC novelties and tractor parts for sell or trade. The White Rose FFA Chapter will sell ice cream and milk. The FFA chapter is also organizing a tractor drive.

Back-To-School “Addams Family” Performance Slated Acts of Kindness Theatre Company (AOK) will Fun Day Slated present the musical comedy “The Addams Family” at the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center, 195 Stock St., Hanover. The 10th annual Art & Outdoor Fest will be held on Saturday, Aug. 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grounds of Shank’s Mare, 2092 Long Level Road, Wrightsville. The center also offers a class on card making and opportunities for blanket knotting, as well as a quilters’ group.

The center offers a movie and popcorn once a month. A podiatrist visits every nine weeks, and a nurse stops by once a month to conduct blood pressure checks. A jewelry making class is also planned.

The senior center will offer trips, as well. A group will travel to see “The Will Rogers Follies” at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre in Lancaster on Thursday, Oct. 31. Reservations and deposits are being accepted. Other trips will be announced in the future.

The senior center is selling cookbooks featuring recipes from members of the center.

The sale is a fundraiser for the center.
