Vision Resources of Central Pennsylvania (VROCP) will host the seventh annual Evening in the Shadows awareness event on Thursday, Nov. 8, at 6 p.m. The event will feature a five-course dinner, during which guests will be blindfolded. The event is designed to allow participants to learn about and better appreciate the experience of a blind person. The event will take place at the Country Club of Harrisburg, 401 Fishing Creek Valley Road, Harrisburg. The
meal will be the creation of a notable local chef, and beverages will be selected to complement each course. Participants will be encouraged to discuss and guess exactly what foods they are tasting while enjoying live background musical entertainment.
