The Serbian-American Club of Steelton will hold its annual picnic on Sunday, July 29, from noon to 8 p.m. at Serb Park, 1131 Eisenhower Blvd., Harrisburg. Roast lamb and pork, sarma, cevaps, and other ethnic foods, including palacinke (crepes filled with cheese), will be available for sale. Music will be provided by Sviraj and The Happy Slovenes. Polo Match To Support National MS Society The 13th annual George F. Hempt Memorial MS Polo Match will take place on Friday and Saturday, July 27 and 28, at a new venue - the Vineyard at Hershey, 598 Schoolhouse Road, Middletown.
On July 27 from 6 to 9:30 p.m., a Denim and Diamonds Reception will take place. It will feature signature dishes from local restaurants, silent and live auctions, and live music by the Benjamin Vo Blues
A children’s tent will be open from noon to 2 p.m. during the 13th annual George F. Hempt Memorial MS Polo Match on July 28.
Benefit Concert Scheduled Parrotbeach, a Jimmy Buffett tribute band, will perform a free benefit show on Saturday, July 21, at 7 p.m. at Sunset Bar and Grill, 2601 Sunset Drive, Middletown. Parrotbeach will perform Buffett’s most popular songs, including “Volcano” and “Cheeseburger in Paradise.” Food, including cheeseburgers, will be

Annual Slavic Festival Planned The annual Slavic American festival will take place on Sunday, July 15, on the parish grounds of St. Ann Byzantine Catholic Church, 5408 Locust Lane, Harrisburg, from noon to 9 p.m. People can start the day at 10 a.m. with Divine Liturgy (Mass) that will be held in the church.

Caitlin’s Smiles, a Harrisburg-based charity, will hold its A Night of Smiles Art Auction on Saturday, Oct. 6. The theme will be “Celebrating Your Hero!” Quality works, including originals or signed prints from artists and craftspeople, are needed for the silent auction, as well as donations of themed gift baskets.
