will benefit from the third annual York Turtle Derby on Sunday, Aug. 26, at 2 p.m. during the Yorkfest Fine Arts Festival. The event will begin at the West Market Street Bridge, next to the Big Brothers Big Sisters office at 227 W. Market St., York. Organizers will drop 4,000 rubber turtles from the bridge into the Codorus Creek. Individuals may adopt turtles to race on their behalf, and the people with the winning turtles will receive prizes. Big Brothers Big Sisters will host events and vendors at its office on West Market Street throughout the weekend.
