We are delighted to start 2024 with the finals of Super 6s Junior Clubs Championships.
We congratulate the teams who have made it through the eight Area competitions to reach the finals and hope that they enjoy the experience of playing in a tournament with their peers from around the country. Our thanks go to all the team officials who have dedicated a lot of time to the development of each team. We know that their commitment is very much appreciated by the players and parents. Thanks also go to the umpires and officials who give their time freely to run the tournaments in a structured and fair manner.

HOPING TO PICK UP A PRINTED PROGRAMME? England Hockey has taken the decision to go digital for all event programmes from 2023. There are a number of contributing factors, but the main ones are: •
It is more environmentally friendly and avoids unnecessary paper wastage with printing

It provides greater flexibility for more dynamic content in the programme and allows us to update late information
•
We can provide the programme digitally free of charge for spectators and participants.
However, getting to a national final is a big deal! We recognise that you may wish to get your hands on a printed programme for the memory box, and we’re pleased to tell you that it’s still possible!

THE REGULATIONS Pool Matches
CLASSIFICATION Matches
3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw. If at the end of the pool games, two or more teams have an equal number of points, the following order shall be used to determine places:
If the score is equal at full-time in the semi-finals and final, a shootout between the teams involved will be arranged. In other matches, if the score is equal, the place will be shared.
i. Highest goal difference. ii. Highest number of goals scored. iii. Highest number of matches won. iv. The result of the match(es) between the teams concerned v. If teams are still equal, a shootout between the teams involved will be arranged.
The losers of the semi-finals will share third place.
Duration All matches are 10 minutes each way with two minutes at half time with no time-outs. 25 minutes per match has been allowed in the schedule.
LAST SEASON’S SUMMARY GIRLS’ U16
GIRLS’ U18
There were 17 games played and 76 goals scored. The top goalscorer was Biba Mills who scored 16 goals over five games, then playing for Knole Park, but this season is playing for East Grinstead U18s.
76 goals were scored over 17 games. The top goal scorer was Annabel Cheveley from Knole Park with a total of nine goals.
After the pool games and semi-finals, the final came down to Knole Park and Repton. Knole Park scored first in this thrilling 6-1 final, with an impressive Knole Park finishing as the 2023 winners, retaining their trophy from 2022.
The final came down to Knole Park and Surbiton. After a tense first half, Knole Park scored two goals to seal their victory in the 2023 competition and keep their title from 2022.
BOYS’ U18
Over the 17 games 95 goals were scored, with the top goal scorer, Linus Frankhof from Repton, scoring eight goals.
Over 17 games, 85 goals were scored, and the joint top goal scorers were, George Fletcher from Repton, Ted Graves from Bowdon and Oliver Lander from Winchester all scoring seven goals.
The final came down to Surbiton and Epsom. With Epsom taking the early lead in the first half, Surbiton came back in the last few minutes, but Epsom held on to come out on top with a 3-2 win.
The final was between Old Loughtonians and Bowdon. Old Loughtoanians scored the first goal, but Bowdon brought it back, and the score ended 4-1, crowning Bowdon the 2023 Champions.
