It’s election time, and your participation in the 2026 PEO Council elections matters.

Council operates as a direction and control board, and those who serve on it provide the overall direction for PEO while upholding the regulator’s duty to protect the public interest.

With both online and telephone options available, voting takes only a few minutes, and you can cast your ballot anywhere, anytime.

Candidate Statement As a Professional Engineer with over 13 years of experience delivering water and wastewater infrastructure across Ontario, my career has been devoted to protecng the public interest through engineering soluons that are safe, reliable, and sustainable. In my role as Vice President at Environmental Infrastructure Soluons Inc., I lead a muldisciplinary team through design and construcon, ensuring projects are delivered with quality, accountability, and collaboraon. My career reflects technical excellence, strategic leadership, and the ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.

For more than a decade, I have volunteered with PEO’s Toronto Humber Chapter, serving as Chair and Vice Chair, and in other leadership roles. I have supported iniaves including the Government Liaison Commiee, the Scholarship Program, and the Licence Assistance Program. These experiences have strengthened my ability to connect policy with pracce and have prepared me to contribute meaningfully to Council. I bring a well-rounded, practical perspective to PEO. Throughout my career I’ve balanced technical execution with strategic thinking – managing risk while delivering impactful outcomes.

A dedicated volunteer with PEO for nearly 20 years, I have contributed extensively to regulatory and governance work. My approach to Council work continues to be grounded in objectivity, collaboration and evidence decision making. I strive to be open minded, to listen to others and to adjust my position when data supports a different path forward.

During my past term on Council, we made significant progress on the Strategic Plan, including developing the current version – one that is both dynamic and forward-looking. Over the past three decades, I have been deeply committed to the engineering profession. My passion for engineering has been strengthened not only through my technical work, but also through my extensive volunteer contributions. As Programs Chair for the Willowdale/Thornhill PEO Chapter, and through my involvement in the transportation engineering field at both Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and York University—where I delivered advanced trafficsoftware training to engineering students—I have gained valuable insight into the broader impact we can have in shaping the next generation of professional engineers.

I volunteered over 3 years as a tutor and mentor with the “Engineer In Residence” program managed by PEO.I have been an advisor and mentor at York University I hold a PE license in the United States. Within my community, I was a Director for the Newmarket Soccer Club and a member of the Property Standard Committee with the Town of Newmarket. I am also a Robotics Judge with CANADA FIRST. 7

I am running to serve on Council because I believe that Ontario engineers deserve a strong, practical, and solutions-driven voice at the table. I am committed to representing our needs with professionalism, If elected, I will focus on: Improved communications between Council and PEO, by providing clear directions, and insisting on transparency and equality between CEAB and non-CEAB engineers for PEO, and in all chapters.

Supporting professional development by exempting from CPD both retirees and newly licensed engineers.

Attracting and keeping talent through fee exemptions for relevant groups like young engineers, retirees and specialists.

Ensuring that engineering expertise is recognized and preventing a brain drain in strategic decision-making through collaboration with American regulators, as a Professional Engineer who is licensed in both Canada and the United States.
