Primed or Sanded N1000
Price indicator* £84.05 N1000 Paint Sanded *FD30 door 838 x 1981 x 44mm
A blank canvas for paint finish • Customise your door see page 50. • The hardwood veneer used on paint sanded and paint primed may vary and is at Vicaima's discretion. • Naturdor® Paint grade lippings are supplied unfinished, on site lippings will require sealing on the vertical edges. This is to maintain stability of the door edge lipping. Veneer is a natural product and so variation to colour and grain configuration will occur on paint grade and primed doors. • We use a water based primer and care should be taken to prepare surface for painting. See Technical Information on website for finishing advice.

| CONSTRUCTION AND FINISH
Vicaima quality inside and out
Finishes Naturdor® Real wood veneer or veneered and stained, fully lacquered with satin finish to both faces and long edges using 2 coats of UV cured clear acrylic (excludes primed and sanded options). This finish provides a smooth surface to the door enhancing the natural beauty of wood. Dekordor® SD (Standard Duty) Foil. Offering completely matching faces, so ideal for pairs. Dekordor® HD (Heavy Duty) Laminate. These continuous pressure laminate (CPL) faces are man- made and therefore will match making them ideal as pairs. HD Doors are UV and scratch resistant, making them suitable for demanding locations. Dekordor® 3D provide a horizontal embossed grain effect using a made-made surface material and Ash lippings. Lacdor, white painted face and edge banded with smooth surface, to give a clean and fresh look to interior spaces.
Site finishing of lipped edges This will need to be carried out immediately after fitting to avoid moisture ingress associated with site conditions, and to comply with our guarantee. Naturdor® lippings are supplied factory finished in satin lacquer, however, if modified on site lippings will require re-sealing with clear polyurethane on the vertical edges. This is to maintain stability of the door edge lipping and maintain the product guarantee. Naturdor® Stained edges are supplied fully finished edge banded, not designed to be modified on site and best suited to a Vicaima DoorKit or DoorSet. Dekordor® lippings are supplied unfinished. On site, lippings will require sealing with clear polyurethane on the vertical edges. This is to maintain stability of the door edge lipping. Note: If wishing to match stain the edges of our Dekordor 3D doors please contact our technical department for suggestions. Lacdor edges are supplied fully finished edge banded, not designed to be modified on site and best suited in a Vicaima DoorKit or DoorSet. Naturdor® Paint grade lippings are supplied unfinished, on site lippings and faces will require painting. This is to maintain stability of the door edge lipping. Veneer is a natural product and so variation to colour and grain configuration will occur on paint grade and primed doors. See Technical Information on website for finishing advice.
Natural veneers in the Classic, Exclusive and Essential ranges All Vicaima veneered doors are generally supplied from stock veneers and as such have been manufactured in high volume production runs and not against a specific order. The veneers used are of normal commercial quality, standard and centre book matched. Veneer matching is not possible from stock. Please Note: Veneers, hardwood mouldings/lippings and glazing beads are natural products and some variation in colour and grain is unavoidable. All Vicaima doors are FSC®certified as standard

| DOOR CARE & HANDLING
Handle with care
Delivery All doors will be delivered on pallets labeled clearly on both sides. All pallets are banded for security prior to final pallet wrapping so ensuring that the load is safe and kept free from dirt and moisture. All deliveries based on fork lift unloading, unless agreed at time of quotation/order.
Unloading Care is needed when unloading with mechanical trucks, to ensure safe handling, max weight 2 tons. Check doors thoroughly on delivery – it is essential that you make sure all components are present and that the door is in first class condition. If your door is shrink wrapped, keep the wrapper on for as long as possible to prevent surface damage.
Storage & Installation • Self-adhesive tape (whether low-tac or otherwise), used in the course of adding site protection to door faces and edges during installation; must not come into direct contact with the actual face or edge of the door. This has the potential to cause damage and so Vicaima doors would not be covered under our normal guarantee should this have occurred. • The weight of fire doors and other solid core doors are heavier than would normally be handled by one person. Doors should normally be handled by at least 2 people. • Doors should always be stacked on a flat and level surface in a well ventilated room. The stack height should be limited to ensure safe handling is possible. Never store a door on its edge or end. • Use at least three load bearers to allow equal weight distribution. Ensure that the bearers are wider than the door. Always stack the widest doors at the bottom. • Do not allow direct sunlight on the doors, as this may cause fading. • The door must not be stored or fitted in a building with wet trades. For example, plastering should have been finished and given time to completely dry. Doors and frames must be stored in dry conditions and free from excessive moisture levels. • If stacking doors, store them in the sequence you are using them to prevent unnecessary movement. • Products manufactured from timber related materials. along with the packaging are combustible, therefore the product should be stored away from radiant heat or fire. In case of fire, use water to extinguish. When using timber products splinters may occur. Care should always be taken and where appropriate protective gloves should be worn. • The disposal of waste polythene or other packaging materials should be through the normal trade recycling or refuse collection outlets. • When handling timber products, normal hygiene standards should be used before food and drink is consumed.
Returns Vicaima will only consider the restocking of ex-stock, non serviced products. Any such returns will be subject to quality, quantity and product type and where accepted will be subject to a charge of 25%, plus transportation if required.
