ADVISOR SPOTLIGHT: Katie Brooks

Known first and foremost as a people person, Katie has always had an aptitude for making friends wherever she goes. She has parlayed her synergistic personality into a career in sales that has taken the form of everything from make-up and cellphones at mall kiosks in high school to home interiors with Pier 1, sales manager for Headframe Spirits, and now as a REALTOR in the Southwest Montana communities.

Katie moved to Montana from Boise, Idaho in 2003. She studied Family and Consumer Sciences at Montana State University and fell in love with all that Montana has to offer. Butte became home in 2016 where she and her husband found a new passion for both the history and the future of this unique mountain town. When she is not hard at work supporting her clients, you can find Katie and her husband rallying their friends and family for some Montana adventure. From hiking, skiing, and rafting to

enjoying unique eateries and craft cocktails, Katie loves finding and introducing everyone to the best parts of Montana.

Katie took a leap that has been long awaiting her by becoming a Realtor in January of 2020 and with an unprecedented market she learned quickly in the first years of her career. Adding to her real-life real estate education Katie and her husband went through the process of building and purchasing their first home together in 2019 and moved in 2020. The process has been wonderful, exciting, and overwhelming at times. Through this, she learned so much that helps her identify pain points and solutions for her clients in both the buying and selling process. With a passion for her community in Butte and Montana, Katie is excited for the next chapter in her career with the knowledgeable and client-focused team at Engel & Volkers.
