Helicopter f lights See the spectacular scenery of the Engadin from a bird’s eye view. You can do it all on a helicopter flight: the route is up to you.

GPS hunt A GPS hunt is an exciting and varied activity that is ideal for groups of up to around 200 people. Teams use modern satellite-tracking devices to locate objects and solve puzzles at various locations in the Engadin. On the via ferrata (fixed-rope climb) on Piz Trovat, 550 metal rungs and a thrilling hanging rope bridge lead up to the summit at 3,146 metres above sea level, where you can delight in magnificent views of the Palü, Bernina and Morteratsch. Walk in the footsteps of great philosophers or explore the secrets of nature with all your senses. Simply ride up the mountain and choose between a stroll along the Philosophers’ Trail or a hike up to the realms of the ibex (depending on conditions). Or learn about the future of energy on a hike between 1,770 and 3,057 metres above sea level and discover how St. Moritz is setting trends worldwide in the sphere of renewable energy with an integrated programme that includes hydroelectricity, solar energy, lake heat power and biogas.

Follow the trail of ibex and marmots – for example, in the Swiss National Park. Switzerland’s only national park covers an area of 170 square kilometres, including 80 kilometres of hiking trails, and takes visitors into a pristine forest, mountain and rocky landscape. The unique fauna with its abundance of game is particularly attractive in autumn, during the rutting season. Take in the sights, sounds and smells of nature on an individual or guided hike through the park. In 2014, the Swiss National Park celebrated its 100th anniversary.

Snow Night Corvatsch Rent the mountain exclusively for yourself. Enjoy superb snow sports amidst a wintery romantic ambience: speeding down the expansive, velvety pistes under an enchanting star-studded sky, in the tranquillity of the night, is a truly awesome experience. Bob taxi ride Experience speeds of more than 130 km/h and forces of up to five G as you hurtle down the 19 bends of the Olympia Bob Run St. Moritz–Celerina in a bob taxi piloted by a professional. Opened in 1904, this is the oldest bob run in the world, and the only natural ice track in existence. Price includes transport back to the start, a Taxi Rider certificate with souvenir photo, and an accompanying pin badge.

Have a go at driving a snowcat – the childhood dream of every heavyvehicle fan! First you take a look behind the scenes of the winter operations and piste preparation on the Corviglia. Then, as a unique and exclusive highlight, you will have the opportunity to manoeuvre a snowcat piste-grooming vehicle around a specially prepared obstacle course and practise your newly acquired driving skills.

Muottas Muragl toboggan run The toboggan run from the top station of the Muottas Muragl funicular, 2,456 metres up, down to the bottom – a vertical drop of 705 metres – promises a very special thrill.

Snowkiting Glide across the snow on skis or on a snowboard, pulled along by a kite: snowkiting is an increasingly popular sport that harnesses the power of the wind to provide an incomparable thrill.

As host, the Engadin St. Moritz holiday region is looking forward with great pleasure to the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2017 in St. Moritz. The community has set its sights on an atmospheric, authentic and modern sporting event in an unmatched mountain setting. For St. Moritz, these will be the fifth world champion­ships since 1934: a long tradition lies behind the goal of organising an event that is truly pioneering.
