The Avenue House animal enclosure was repaired and upgraded as part of wide-ranging improvement works at Belfast Zoo. energystore TLA® was installed on the roof of the animal enclosure as part of the upgrade works. The design team selected TLA200 combined with the Polyglass torch-on Polyshield bitumen membrane to create a new watertight roof with enhanced insulation properties
The warm roof design required intricate falls design to accommodate the many openings in the roof. This coupled with challenging access issues and limited onsite storage meant energystore TLA® was an ideal choice for this project.
