We are a third generation denim mill, located in Karachi, Pakistan. We started weaving cotton in 1991, and slowly moved into denim production soon after. A relative newcomer on the denim scene, in the quarter of a century that we have been in business, we have already established ourselves as true world leaders, having established a fully vertical world class denim mill. Our output is 36 million meters annually.
Arsal Kassim our Creative Director’s vision for the company is simple; to take KASSIM Denim to the next generation and redefine how we make denim in the most eco-friendly and most sustainable way.
This approach and refocus in KASSIM Denim, has inspired the entire company and started a movement, that has kick started our passion for making denim. We are committed to carry on learning from the past from using vintage narrow width shuttle looms, but our feet are firmly in the future, from the use of modern computerised jacquard looms and establishing new ways of weaving technologies, using organic cotton, modern fibers and redefining stretch denim.
Pakistan has a rich heritage and history growing and weaving cotton, as well as dying with natural Indigo from the Indus valley region, we form part of a new generation which will put Pakistan back on the map in the most positive way.
