Angeles is a powerful speaker and diligent advocate with over a decade of preventionbased training and facilitation experience on the topic areas of sexual and intimate partne violence, child abuse, and intersectionality She’s honed her advocacy skills in coalition building, legislative organizing, and professional and youth leadership development, on the behalf of those who have experienced multi-layered trauma and housing instability
Angeles currently serves as Senior Manager of Community Engagement and Training at TurnAround, Inc., a Baltimore-based rape crisis center. Centering her focus on implementing preventive strategies, advocacy, and the pursuit of racial equity, Angeles hopes to equip communities with the knowledge and tools to identify their own methods of healing and empower them to share their stories. She holds a bachelor’s in social work from Morgan State University volunteers countless hours in her community. Angeles comes to this space as an allyship to Endo sisterhood, as she has managed over a decade of challenges and wins over her bouts with Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
