Kyla Canzater, also known as Healthy Kyla on Youtube, is a Stage IV Endometriosis Mom sharing her health and motherhood journey as a digital healthy lifestyle content creator at PinkProverb.com. Kyla was able to find her own way to healing from Endo pain through lifestyle changes and is helping others learn about their options along their journey. You can see Kyla on her local media stations in the Baltimore area and Youtube sharing healthy lifestyle recipes, tips and hacks.
She has been featured on ABC, FOX, and The Washington Post. Kyla has had the pleasure of being a part of Jessica Murnane’s Know Your Endo: An Empowering Guide To Health + Hope With Endometriosis, The Endo What? Documentary, and Blood and Guts, Meg Allan Cole’s Exposing Endometriosis Documentary, as well as, curating content for the Endometriosis Foundation.

eth pursued her career in Journalism at The rsity of Tennessee, Knoxville, receiving her degree rnalism & Electronic Media in 2014 Once she ated she established a position in promotions with The Game and a couple years later saw an open rtunity with its sister station, V103. She began ng as a board operator and took up an interest in ucing. She was then afforded a promotion to ucer of the midday show on V103. Within her first ears of working in a fast, top 10 market radio try, Elizabeth, “Lili” Smith earned time on-air as a end personality, media correspondent, contributor to articles online and producer for legends such as Big Tigger and Ed Lover.
Elizabeth has served as a host/moderator for Essence, BET Her, A3C, 21Ninety, Bossip, Empire Record Label and more.
Elizabeth has also had the privilege of working with esteemed networks such as BET, TV One, Fox Network, ESPN, Revolt Network and more
In 2019 she created a back to school giveaway with her girlfriends, entitled “Squad Goals Back to School Giveaway,” and gifted one young lady between the ages of 14 - 18 years old a free back to school hairstyle The mission behind the giveaway was to inspire, encourage and uplift young girls in their teenage years, serving as a mentor to them for years to come
Elizabeth is a proud advocate for Endometriosis and had the pleasure of serving as a host/moderator for the inaugural African-American led Endometriosis Conference Standing On The Front- line: Endo Black’s Advocate & Allies Conference presented by Endo Black Incorporated In 2021, she started an Endometriosis Awareness Month giveaway and gifted numerous women who suffer from Endometriosis products from partnering sponsor.
Angeles is a powerful speaker and diligent advocate with over a decade of preventionbased training and facilitation experience on the topic areas of sexual and intimate partne violence, child abuse, and intersectionality. She’s honed her advocacy skills in coalition building, legislative organizing, and professional and youth leadership development, on the behalf of those who have experienced multi-layered trauma and housing instability.
Angeles currently serves as Senior Manager of Community Engagement and Training at TurnAround, Inc., a Baltimore-based rape crisis center. Centering her focus on implementing preventive strategies, advocacy, and the pursuit of racial equity, Angeles hopes to equip communities with the knowledge and tools to identify their own methods of healing and empower them to share their stories. She holds a bachelor’s in social work from Morgan State University volunteers countless hours in her community. Angeles comes to this space as an allyship to Endo sisterhood, as she has managed over a decade of challenges and wins over her bouts with Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Natasha holds a Bachelor's of Business Management and Criminal Justice. She is the founder of Natural Queen Essentials and Essential Births a holistic health wellness specializing in Reiki, Yoni Practitioner and Women's Wellness specializing in endometriosis and fertility and is now a State Certified Full Spectrum Community Doula and National Advanced Prison Doula providing nurturing care while reconnecting clients with their natural birthing intuitive strengths. Erica McAfee is the Founder and CEO of Sisters in Loss, a maternal child health hub that helps Black women replace silence with storytelling around pregnancy and infant loss and infertility. Sisters in Loss provides pregnancy, birth, postpartum, bereavement doula, and grief services to help women step beyond anxiety and fear and into trust and peace after loss. BIvori Lipscomb-Warren is an author, educator, speaker and certified professional coach who specializes in infertility, pregnancy loss, postpartum and mompreneurship After experiencing personal battles with infertility, pregnancy loss and mature motherhood, she was inspired to help women just like her achieve a life they desire. Mrs La-Anna Douglas is a Fashion Model, Influencer, Writer, Women’s Advocate and a Motivational Speaker. Brittany Cheeks was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. During her free time, she loves to roller skate, salsa dance, and ride her motorcycle From her first period, Brittany suffered with painful, depilating periods. Samantha Denäe, CHHP is a GA State licensed holistic health practitioner, counselor, feminine wellness practitioner, certified reiki master, intuitive tarot reader, herbalist, and Endometriosis survivor! After being diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2014, she struggled to get herself to a healing place until Samantha began to dive into learning my womb and wanting to heal my womb space. Throughout her journey she has been able to heal her Endometriosis, after enduring a 90-day period for nine months out of the year, for four years. Currently, she serves as an Advisory Board member with The Endometriosis Foundation of America and assists with educating students through The ENPOWR Project as The ENDO Educator. Fawn Walker-Montgomery is a longtime community activist and Co-Founder/CEO of Take Action Advocacy Group (TAAG ) She is a former candidate for Mayor in McKeesport and a past candidate for State Representative in the 35th District . Fawn was the first black person & woman to run for a State seat in the Mon Valley She has a B.A. in Political Science from Johnson C. Smith University (HBCU) and a Master’s of Science in Criminal Justice Administration Point Park University Fawn is also a past second-term Councilwoman in McKeesport, PA. Nina Miller was born in Washington, DC and raised in Silver Spring, MD Growing up, she battled various health problems, including Endometriosis Despite her medical struggles, Nina earned her B A from the University of Maryland in 2012, and her M.F.A. from Full Sail University in 2017 From 2019-2020, she worked as the Digital Marketing Manager for Endo Black, designing art & content that were used to further awareness and advocacy for women of color with Endometriosis In 2020, Nina opened her own media design business, which produced masks for those in need during the pandemic, and advocated for the Black Lives Matter movement by honoring victims of violence through art Unfortunately, Nina’s health took a turn for the worst in the Fall of 2020, and she was later diagnosed with Gastroparesis and Crohn’s Disease. Krystal Leaphart is the Senior Policy Analyst at the National Birth Equity Collaborative. In this role, Krystal is responsible for helping to shape the NBEC Federal, State and Local policy and advocacy priorities Using her decade of experience in legislative advocacy and grassroots activism, she will make recommendations to elected officials and important stakeholders on the best way to advance birth equity using a Reproductive Justice Lens Read more at www.endoblackconference.com.
Dr. Jessica Opoku-Anane is a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon at Columbia University Medical Center in New York She is the Director of the Comprehensive Endometriosis Center and a provider in the Center for Research and Advanced Fibroid Treatment She is also a Co-Director of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Department of Ob/Gyn. Prior to joining Columbia University in January 2023, Dr. Opoku-Anane was as an associate professor at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) where she served as the Chief of Minimally Invasive Gynecology and Urogynecology and Director of the UCSF Endometriosis Center

Julia Mandeville is a public health professional and the co-founder of the Barbados Association of Endometriosis & PCOS (BAEP). She received her diagnosis of severe endometriosis in 2014 Julia earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with Microbiology from the University of West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. In 2017, she gained her Master of Public Health with a specialization in Global Health from the University of Manchester, and certificates in Gender & Development and NGO Management from the University of the West Indies in 2018 Julia is responsible for developing the programmatic activities of the BAEP. Love Your Menses was founded in Boston, MA in 2019 in response to the growing menstrual wellness needs of girls, menstruating youths, and women As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is to dispel myths surrounding menstruation, promote menstrual equity, and build the next generation of

Endo Black, Incorporated is a black-women-led organization advocating for African American women and women of color living with endometriosis in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area and established in April 2019 and incorporated in April 2020 by Lauren R. Kornegay.
The organization addresses advocacy for endometriosis among African American women and women of color, providing a safe space, producing opportunities for endo-sisterly love, educational and enriching programs with a wealth load of beneficial resources.
