Endeavour is a huge network full of opportunities to create your own possibilities.

You are supported to grow an idea, yourself, and your career how you want, where you want.

So go on, dream big and leave your mark. We are together creators.

Hi All,

Since emerging as an independent company in June 2021, Endeavour Group has continued to inspire more than 30,000 of us to dream big and create exceptional products and experiences for our customers and guests, teams and the communities in which we live and work.

No matter what you do, or where you work within Endeavour, you play an important role in delivering our purpose of ‘Creating a more sociable future, together’.

The Imprint Awards is a celebration of everyday excellence and your commitment to leaving a lasting, positive imprint. These Awards provide an opportunity to recognise and celebrate teammates and their accomplishments at a Group level; those who have left their mark on our team, customers and communities through their passion, energy, leadership and innovation.

I encourage everyone to familiarise themselves with the spirit of the eight award categories open for nominations by reading through this guide, and nominating an individual or team who embodies them.

About the Imprint Awards

Our logo is inspired by the imprint a bottle leaves on a surface, however the story of our imprint runs deeper than just a literal mark. It’s also the impression we leave on each other and our customers.

The Endeavour Group Imprint Awards recognise those who best exemplify all that our imprint stands for.

This one’s for those who have significantly improved customer or guest experiences leading to incredible outcomes.

2024 Winner: Sam Wuersching

Sam led a complex project to integrate Lotto terminals, as you see in Newsagents, into our BWS stores. Whilst at first glance this appears to be a pretty simple trial POS set up, the project quickly became a major undertaking to create a new non-liquor category, negotiate the franchise agreement with executives at Lotto and BWS, and collaboration with most Endeavour departments!

Throughout the journey Sam led our value of ”we’re responsible” and ensured there were checks and balances on all things regulatory to ensure we were acting responsibly.

Those who champion our ways of working

Celebrating those who know the positive impact we can make is far greater when we work together and have truly championed our ways of working in how they have partnered with others to deliver outstanding value to our people, our business or our customers.

2024 Winner: Gourie Fordyce

Who can be nominated:

Individuals or teams

Things to consider:

Think of those who work with spirit and are team players. Those who constantly endeavour to strive for better. Who inspires you because of the positive impact they have on either yourself or others?

Perhaps they inspire through their passion, knowledge and enthusiasm. If you know a truly great collaborator, someone (or a team) who, in the way they approach their work and those they work with, contributed to our greater purpose, this award has their name all over it.

Following the Supply Chain challenges associated with COVID (particularly on delayed indent stock) and with rapid inflation and high interest rates the Group has faced high inventory levels which has weighed down on our working capital number. As a result of Gourie’s leadership, outcomes have been fantastic as we have seen inventory levels in all areas (Goods In Transit & Indent, DC local and Stores) come down dramatically.

As a group we are tracking well below last year and also below forecast for our Inventory position as a result of the work that G has been able to drive.
