Grab your littlest family members and kick off this holiday season with the world premiere of (Knock Knock) The Sounds of Winter. Part of The Kathy & Ken Bernhardt Theatre For the Very Young season, this virtual, interactive holiday children ages 0-5 years and their grown-ups.

What makes winter so special? This is the question playwrights Olivia Aston Bosworth and Samantha Provenzano pondered as they

experience is created especially for wrote, Zoom-ed, and collaborated with artists over the last few months. Their conclusion — warmth, light, and most importantly, community — led them to a cozy apartment building filled with holiday spirit.

(Knock Knock) The Sounds of Winter will be shared as a fourpart episodic adventure. In each episode, we will meet residents of The Apartment Building as they

prepare for the holidays. Among the characters are the artist that built the building, a resident who has just moved in, and a ballerina and her father who will be played by real life father-daughter duo Eugene H. Russell IV and Eliana Russell.

To extend the excitement, each episode will include an audio adventure and activity guide to allow caregivers to play out the story with their children through fun and engaging games, crafts, and musical moments. In a time when our world is full of uncertainty, (Knock Knock) The Sounds of Winter brings holiday cheer by focusing on the precious moments that connect people, no matter where they are.

(Knock Knock) The Sounds of Winter will be available to stream on Alliance Theatre Anywhere starting December 8th. Surprises hide behind each door — all you need to do is (knock, knock) and listen closely.
