Program Notes: Welcome to Encore Stage & Studio’s production of The 12 Dancing Princesses! We are delighted to present this classic, yet lesser-known Grimm fairytale. We were thinking that if one princess is good, then twelve of them must be great! We hope you’ll agree. Congratulations to our 2014 Star Award winners! These steadfast students have participated in at least six Encore productions, as both cast and tech crew. They are role models for our younger students and the backbone of our organization. We are so proud to be a theatre company that puts the process of creating theatre fully into the hands of young people. As our season comes to a close, I want to recognize Encore’s wonderfully dedicated staff members, Board of Directors, and volunteers. We have an amazing team at our theatre! Each and every one of you contributes to making our mission of “theatre by kids, for kids” a reality. Thank you for lending your time and talents, and most importantly, thank you for serving the children of our community. If we had our very own walk of fame, each of you would have a star. Enjoy the show!
