Summer is a wonderful time for adventure, exploration, and connection with the outdoors. Here in Encinitas, our Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts Department (PRCA) is proud to offer programs that strengthen our vibrant community. This summer, youth can enjoy enriching camps at the beach, parks, art center, and recreation facilities, while residents of all ages can participate in a variety of sports, arts programs, and our popular beach concerts. Inclusion and community spirit are what make Encinitas unique — here, you’re not just someone who surfs in Encinitas; you’re an Encinitas surfer.
We invite you to be an active part in shaping our parks, facilities, and services. Your voice matters and is essential to the success of PRCA. You can report issues easily through the MyEncinitas app, available on Apple and Android devices. Another meaningful way to stay involved is through participation in our commissions, which focus on Youth, Senior Citizens, Arts, and Parks & Recreation and make recommendations to the Encinitas City Council. Find meeting agendas, schedules, and more information on the City's website. Let's work together to make this a memorable summer in Encinitas!
