Eastern Mediterranean University has a thirty-year history of providing quality language education, offering all year round English, and other foreign language courses for residential study, including an international summer school. The courses offered range from 4 weeks to 1 year and are fully mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR).

Academic English Courses Once you enrol as a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate student at Eastern Mediterranean University, you are offered a range of English language support courses at the Modern Languages Division (MLD) to suit your level and needs.

MLD Core English Courses • 16 week programmes • 4-6 hours per week • CEFR mapped • Optional International Exam Qualification (IEQ) entry International English Certificates All programmes offer the opportunity of obtaining an international English qualification (IEQ) certificate upon completion of your language course. EMU enjoys approved membership of City & Guilds, IELTS, LCCI, TOEFL and TOLES.
