Delivering expert guidance

VNA contracts with various schools in the metro area to provide nurses as part of our commitment to a healthier community. Nurses in schools promote wellness, provide physical and mental health services, and help ensure the overall well-being of students and staff.

In 2022, VNA contracted with eight new schools, supporting the health of an additional 630 students in our community.

No two schools are alike — VNA nurses personalize the services they provide based on the needs of the students, the resources available from the school, and the priorities of the administration and parents. Available services include health evaluations and screenings, wellness education, care for students who are sick, disease prevention and control, and staff training.
