Beyond the plethora of boats, marine gear and gadgets, there’s an array of entertainment and educational masterclasses on offer at this year’s Sydney International Boat Show. Don’t miss any of the action with our What’s On Guide. Don’t forget, the ICC Sydney has two exhibition levels, the upper halls (level 4) and the lower halls (level 1), so be sure to check out both levels and the spectacular onwater display on Cockle Bay Marina.

THE HARBOUR LOUNGE - VIP EXPERIENCE

Upgrade your experience to First Class with a VIP Pass. The Harbour Lounge is the newest luxury precinct to hit the water at the Sydney International Boat Show. Located on The Jackson, a stunning 60-metre superyacht, The Harbour Lounge includes an all-day gourmet grazing menu, premium beverages, live entertainment and boutique tasting experiences. THE HARBOUR LOUNGE - PUBLIC BAR

Soak up the boat show atmosphere and kick back with friends at The Harbour Lounge Public Bar on The Jackson. Sip on a refreshing beverage while enjoying good tunes and even better vibes with alfresco seating right in the heart of the boat show precinct in Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour.

THE EVENT DECK

The Event Deck on the top exhibition level is where our purpose-built 35 metre pool hosts on-water demonstrations of the latest marine products. See and trial kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, pedalboards and other unique craft, while the kids enjoy free bumper boat rides.

Bellalina Mermaids will be performing daily with their unique underwater show and photo booth, along with the NSW Police showcasing their rapid response watercraft plus interactive experiences with the NSW Department of Primary Industries & Fisheries.

The Event Deck is also home to the Rooftop Bar, the ideal place to relax and gather with friends while enjoying the spectacular view across the city.

MAIN STAGE

If you love fishing, you’ll love the fishing demonstrations and masterclasses on The Main Stage. Feature fishing demonstrations with Brett Thomson at the Yamaha Supertank, cooking tips with Channel 7’s Boating, Fishing & Weather Expert Paul Burt, and loads of boating, fishing and marine education sessions with some of the country’s leading experts including, Andrew ‘ET’ Ettingshausen, Tim Simpson, Justin Duggan, Greg Reid, Peter ‘PJ’ Johnson, and Rhys Creed.

YAMAHA SUPERTANK FISHING DEMONSTRATIONS

The giant mobile Yamaha Supertank will be a major feature at The Main Stage and will provide a fish-eye view of life beneath the water. Hosted by experienced angler Brett Thomson, the Supertank Show includes casting demonstrations, the latest lures and tips on the best angling techniques. Whether you’re a seasoned fisherman or novice, you’ll enjoy Brett’s entertaining show.

ANDREW ‘ET’ ETTINGSHAUSEN

Renowned as one of rugby league’s greatest players, Sydney local ET now spends most of his time with a rod in the water for filming his show Escape Fishing with ET, which airs on Channel 10 and 10BOLD. One of the longest-running and most popular Australian fishing shows, each week viewers are transported to some of the most exciting and exotic locations in Australia as ET chases down spectacular catches on his action-packed fishing adventures. ET will be bringing the action and excitement of his 23 seasons of Escape Fishing with ET to the Sydney International Boat Show where he and his partners will get stuck into all things fishing and boating on The Main Stage. Meet ET, grab a picture and enter the Escape Fishing with ET competition on the Event Deck for you chance to WIN a day of fishing on the harbour with ET.

LISA BLAIR

The Main Stage will also play host to record-setting sailor, Lisa Blair. Come on a journey around Antarctica as Lisa tells of her recent record. Lisa made history by becoming the fastest person to sail solo, non-stop, and unassisted around Antarctica this year. Lisa weaves a colourful tale of sailing around Antarctica, packed full of epic storms, blizzards, extreme sleep deprivation, endless challenges, and ultimate success in the world's most deadly ocean.

BOATING SAFETY ZONE

Transport for NSW and our safety partners will be on hand at the Boating Safety Zone to answer all your questions, guide you through interactive elements and provide you with the latest information for a safe and enjoyable time on the water. ON WATER SPECTACULAR

CATCH & RELEASE FISHING COMPETITION – GRAND FINAL

The Sydney International Boat Show will play host to the Grand Final of the Berkley Super Series fishing competition, the premium team-based bream catch & release fishing tournament in Australia. The Series has seen over one hundred teams chase down big money prizes in some of the finest bream fishing locations on the East Coast of Australia, with one ultimate goal – to qualify for the Berkley Super Series Grand Final at the Sydney International Boat Show.

The Grand Final is held over two days, allowing teams to fight back into contention should their first day's catch fall short. The Grand Final will take place on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st July with show times from 2pm to 4pm. The weigh-in will take place adjacent to the marina at Cockle Bay, where the winning team will walk away $10,000 richer.

DIVE SECTION

Whether you're an expert diver or a novice new to the sport, you’ll love the dedicated dive section where you’ll find exhibitors with gear and information needed to enjoy diving as a sport, for business, research, conservation or recreation.

COCKLE BAY WHARF KIDS’ ZONE

It’s land ahoy at Cockle Bay Wharf where your little sailor, pirate or lighthouse keeper can get involved in the Boat Show fun at the Kids’ Zone.

Face painting, craft activities, character appearances and a few surprises will keep them entertained while you rest your sea legs with a bite to eat or a drink nearby.
