Dodji & Phyllis Gbedemah Kente Royal Gallery

Dodji and Phyllis Gbedemah opened Kente Royal Gallery (KRG) in Harlem in 2019, motivated by the desire to address the unfortunate dearth of art galleries showcasing the work of Black artists This power-couple conceived, self-funded, opened, and sustained the gallery through the pandemic, one of the most important and vibrant Black-owned art galleries in NYC. Kente Royal has hosted over 40 successful exhibitions, most recently Dodji’s first solo exhibit. Additionally, the Gbedemahs were recognized by Community Works NYC as 2023 “harlem is…Healing” honorees for their contributions during the pandemic.

Farell Mungo & K'Lyle Jones

Infinity Protection Services

K’lyle Jones and Farell Mungo founded Infinity Protection Services (IPS) in 2021 when they assessed a need in the security industry for an enhanced and more elite quality of security officers. Their vision was to provide more training both inside and outside of the classroom. The partners have over 40 years of combined experience in the security industry, and have built IPS with a concentration on more client/vertical-specific security training. As a result, IPS is proud to produce a more diverse and high-quality cadre of trained officers, and more experienced managers and supervisors in the security field.
