As a single mother, visual artists, pattern/costume maker, writer, poet, incessant learner and community activist Clottee Hammons has gained numerous first-hand experiences through balancing multiple jobs in Corporate America, the Arts and nonprofit organizations that focused on behavioral health, the unhoused and others at risk. For over 25 years she has independently organized and curated Art exhibitions in Phoenix that would never have taken place had she not been the driving factor. If not for her drive and commitment many outstanding artists would not have the opportunity to have their works seen or purchased. Despite the lack of support from local grant-making agencies she has successfully created musical, literary and history events that are open to the public and are often free of charge. Her ongoing and expanding "Great MigrationIndiscernibles in Arizona" project brings into focus the little known history of how Black people came to Arizona with a trajectory into modern day. The project has many branches such as a Blues CD (featuring Arizona's King of the Blues, Big Pete Pearson and Scotty Spenner), a Great Migration exhibition installed at Heritage Square, the anthology "Indiscernibles in Arizona/On the hope and reality of being Black in Arizona", workshops online and in-person and "The Soul of The Great Migration" music event that features local Black artists. As a lone Black woman with a vision, often uncomfortable explorations have yielded collaborations that have provided Clottee with longstanding friendships that give her the strength to "KEEP ON PUSHING".

Being a storyteller by nature, Dineta Williams-Trigg has found that the medium of filmmaking works best for her. She has written, produced, directed and acted in numerous independent films since 1999. In order to continue her storytelling passions she founded A Night of Misfit Films Festival in 2016, in Phoenix Arizona.

She sensed a need to concentrate on the independent film community because not everyone has a $100,000 budget to make a film, but with ingenuity and an idea, creatives continue to create. Every November filmmakers come from all over the globe to help her celebrate and showcase films created by marginalized women and men who share their stories through film making as well.

As a Festival Director, inclusivity is always the word of the day, and Dineta is proud to have the ability to assist other storytellers with a platform to share what's in their hearts and minds.

In 2017 she started Co directing the Lebanese Independent Film Festival in Beirut, Lebanon with her French Lebanese partner Gauthier RAAD, and in 2022 Co Directed the Fantasy Film Festival in Paris, France.

Her goal is to continue to facilitate film festivals on all seven continents.

JANE U ARY

With 30 + years in the corporate arena in Accounting, Human Resources and Payroll, Jane has mastered several skills that foster the way she relates to, addresses, and appreciates people.

A published Author and avid poet, Jane was in love with words from the start. As a youth, she could often be found playing with the dictionaryflipping through pages, landing on, and choosing a word to discover and learn. It was in high school that her love of words began to take shape in the form of essays and poetry. Jane was often creating stories in her mind that she never put to paper.

It was not until Jane was the parent of a then 6-year-old son who one night at bedtime, requested a 'made up' story. And thus, 'Jimmy Smith, and The Corn' was born. It would be 20 years until the publishing of that story came to be. A children's book about being of service, which received an 'International Literary Award' from the Professional Woman Publishing Network. Jane continues to create and is currently working on the sequel to this book titled 'Jimmy Smith and The Magic Chalkboard'.

Human kindness is a critical value to Jane. She recognizes how paramount it is to encourage an atmosphere of safety, comfort and truth in both her personal and business life. She understands that, fundamentally, this allows people to be open to share those things which hurt and heal the most...Love and Loss.

Growing up in a traditional Filipino Household, she thought that men are meant to be the bread winners and that women are meant to be house wives.

Michelle has dedicated her life to breaking through those society assigned gender roles. She has every intention to teach her young son Keoni that women can succeed in this world. She strongly believes that a woman can do any man's job just as adequately!
