KENNEL TRAINING TIPS
Here are some steps to follow for kennel training your puppy:
Choose the right kennel size: The kennel should be big enough for your puppy to stand up, turn around, and lay down comfortably However, it shouldn't be too big, or your puppy may use one end as a bathroom and the other end as a sleeping area

Introduce your puppy to the kennel: Encourage your puppy to explore the kennel by placing treats or toys inside. Make it a positive experience by offering praise and treats when your puppy goes inside the kennel.
Use the kennel for short periods: Start by having your puppy spend short periods of time in the kennel while you are at home. This will help your puppy get used to being in the kennel without feeling isolated
Take your puppy outside: When you let your puppy out of the kennel, take them outside to use the bathroom. This will help reinforce good bathroom habits.
Use the kennel for sleeping: Once your puppy is comfortable spending longer periods in the kennel, you can start using it for sleeping at night. Place the kennel in your bedroom so your puppy can still hear and smell you.
Don't use the kennel as punishment: The kennel should be a positive place for your puppy, not a punishment
Kennel training takes time and patience. Be consistent with your training and offer positive reinforcement when your puppy uses the kennel correctly. With time, your puppy will learn to love their kennel and see it as their safe and comfortable space.
