Marina Operative

Windermere Quays is the largest marina on Lake Windermere, and we currently require a Marina Operative to join the Team.

You will be based at Windermere Quays Marina, which is a high profile, busy site, situated in Bowness on Windermere making it a popular visitor destination. Our aim is to deliver the highest level of service to our customers, which demands the best from our team every day. The role will include moving boats - launch and retrieve, hire boats when required, serving fuel from our onsite tanks, use of tractor and fork lift, maintaining the security of the site.

The key requirements for this role are a full clean driving licence, good practical boating skills. You need to be a self-motivated team player but be able to work without supervision, have a practical, resourceful, and commonsense approach to your tasks. We are seeking an enthusiastic, well presented, and friendly team member with a flexible, positive ‘can do’ attitude, Ability to swim and be physically fit. Experience in use of fork lift and tractor would be advantageous. The hours are 5 days per week on a rota basis and can include working some or part weekends.

This is a full-time, permanent role to include weekends.

Wage is £12.00 per hour, and benefits include a yearly bonus, company pension, on-site parking and store discount.
