Sedbergh Soap Company is seeking a cheerful, outgoing person to fill a key role in our small, busy team. We are embarking on exciting new projects, so we need a practical minded person who wants to be part of the journey. It is a very varied job where we get to create and prepare products that make people happy and promote good health.

We offer a good rate of pay and flexible hours.

You will need a confident and positive ‘can do’ attitude, be self-motivated and capable of working unsupervised on your own initiative but also happy to ‘do what it takes’ within a team.

We are looking for the best energetic, committed people for the following roles with best benefits: • General Assistant* – £12ph plus £1000 bonus & benefits Multi-tasking and varied working in both front of house and bakery; • Part-time Shop Assistant(s)* – £11ph plus £1000** bonus & benefits Exceptional front of house people to serve and inform our wonderful customers;

• Sales Ambassador (event management) £25 - £28k & benefits

A busy, varied and interesting role for an event manager who loves the Grasmere Gingerbread® brand, meeting people and going places.

*for the right candidate(s) duties would include hosting and giving talks to tour groups

A good eye for detail and consistency is essential.

You’ll be working closely with our founder and resident Spa specialist in a dynamic environment where enthusiasm for exceeding client expectation is the driving force. Regular lifting is required. Some customer facing experience is desirable but not essential. Industry experience is not necessary as all training is provided.

We manufacture organic bath and skincare products. Our speciality is creating new, innovative products and 100% bespoke amenities and spa treatments for leading hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, and private estates. This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys delivering excellent customer service and working in a friendly, hard working environment. Ideally you will already have barista coffee making experience but all staff are given extensive in house training.

We do require rota flexibility outside of public transport schedules so having your own means of transport is essential.

40 hours per week, 28 days holiday, 3 days off over Christmas period (Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day).

Starting at £10.50 per hour you will quickly have the opportunity to develop with in house training. All staff lunch breaks are paid with food provided.
