Dog’sDayOutPilotProject
OC Animal Care’s Dog’s Day Out program offers a chance for shelter dogs to thrive while allowing community members to contribute positively Launched on March 26, the program enables participants to take adoptable dogs off campus for fun outings, enhancing the dogs' visibility and showcasing their personalities. Over 300 adventures have occurred since its inception, with outings available Thursday to Sunday for adults 18 and older Dogs wear “Adopt Me” vests, and participants receive a supply backpack. Outings can include visits to pet-friendly parks and businesses, promoting the dogs' well-being and adoption prospects.
