They always say, it’s not over until it’s over. And how true it was for the last round of the Rally America series. The Lake Superior Performance Rally held in Hougton, Michigan proved a formidable opponent with rains early in the week and temperatures hovering in the mid twenties. David Higgins and Ken Block were neck and neck coming in to this final round, with the winner of the LSPR to be crowned the 2013 Rally America champion. Unfortunately, Ken Block and Alex Gelsomino suffered a catastrophic roll on the sixth stage of the weekend and the championship title was taken by David Higgins and Craig Drew. David Sterckx and Karen Jankowski would take the Super Production title and Brendan Reeves and Rhianon Gelsomino would round it out with the 2WD title.
