What a difference a year makes.

In recent memory, the Rally in the 100 Acre Woods was jokingly referred to as the second round of Sno*Drift. For the 2014 season, we were greeted with springtime temperatures and the return of some of the fastest roads on the Rally America calendar. We were also greeted with the return of past champion and fan favorite Travis Pastrana, fielding a Subaru STi along side David Higgins.

Not to be overshadowed, the Super Production class finally had a chance to stretch their legs on the fast and flowing roads of Salem, Missouri. Fresh off an overall third place at Sno*Drift, Lauchlin O’Sullivan was itching to secure another podium here at the 100 Acre Wood. Nick Roberts, Dillon Van Way and David Sterckx rarely had more than seconds in between them. Tossing in the return of one of the fastest privateers in the game, Evan Cline, the battles Much like Winnie the Pooh, the raged on throughout the weekend.

100 Acre Wood is Ken Block’s territory, as he has won the event a reWith the absence of Brendo and cord six times. He’s fast and hard Greenhouse, the two wheel drive to beat around these parts. Round- class has been dominated by Mating things off with the likes of Yeo- thew Johnson and Andrew Comman and L’Estage and we had rie-Picard. The playing field was a open class battle for the ages. even now, however, with both cars quicker and faster on gravel roads.

This is the second stop in the Rally America Championship in Salem, Missouri.
