I'm a Morrinsville girl at heart, having spent most my life there before making the move to the small rural village Tauwhare a few years ago For those that are not familiar with the area, it's located bang-smack in the middle of Morrinsville, Hamilton, Cambridge and Matamata which makes it super central

I have been professionally shooting for over 13 years, YES, THIRTEEN whole years! During this time I have been ticking a few things off the old photographer bucket list:

I guess you could say I'm a seasoned pro and you are in very capable hands here I have pretty much seen it all so there’s something in my toolkit for nearly every eventuality

DIGITAL FILES
YES, I offer digital files! We all love them, they're convenient and make sharing your images with family and friends a breeze So yes, of course I offer digital files in packages because I understand the value of these to many people BUT, equally important is having something in printed form for you to enjoy on the daily, so included in all of my digital packages are print credits to ensure that every client walks away with something beautifully printed too.
Your special memories deserve so much more than a USB and can’t be enjoyed when they’re tucked away in a drawer.
As a full service photographer I offer a range of professional prints, frames and wall art that can be enjoyed for many moons to come!
3 EASY STEPS
HOW IT ALL WORKS FOR BUSY PARENTS
STEP 1 - SESSION VOUCHER
The session fee is included in your voucher and includes:
1 Hour portrait session including children and parents
We have the entire hour to capture as many different images and combinations as we can
1 Hour viewing & design session, held in studio
The images that are taken during your session will then be available for purchase as prints or as part of a digital & print package
I have outlined a few of the options available to you further in this guide, I have a range of high quality products so giving you a straight up price on what you will spend isn't easy It's not until you see the images I have taken and look at the options in the studio that you can work out exactly what you would like to take home What I can tell you is that most of my clients LOVE their images and spend upwards of $599 There’s various options which offers ultimate flexibility for all budgets and personal taste so that you walk away with a collection that you are proud of
Payment plans are available via Zip which is a great option to spread your purchases over a few weeks for no extra cost

STEP 3 - VIEWING & SESSION
Approximately 2 weeks after your portrait session has taken place we book in a time for you to come to the studio to view and select your images which will be showcased on a large projector screen I will guide you through the entire process and make it super easy for you to choose which images you would like to take home as well as design wall art and print layouts
Specialized design software allows for digitized frame mock-ups so that you can see exactly how any printed artwork will look and select frames from the bespoke and signature collections using samples in the studio
STEP 2 - YOUR PORTRAIT SESSION
We book a date & time to create your precious memories Together we discuss session locations available and depending on the time of day + your family dynamic I will suggest a few options for you to choose from Family sessions are often held outdoors which offers more flexibility and the space to have a bit of fun For families with babies we can utilize the small studio space which is set up perfectly for little people.
THE STUDIO
A purpose-built space for portrait space for babies which includes a prop library and selection of accessories with from neutral tones through to a rainbow of colour
The studio is also the hub for viewing and deign appointments with print and frame samples on display
FAQ
Where will our photo session take place?
For older children and families we usually head outdoors The open space gives a bit more freedom and flexibility for your portraits Locally we have some great outdoor options that I use frequently and most importantly, that photograph beautifully
What if it rains? Do we reschedule?
This happens but very rarely do I have to reschedule If the weather isn't looking great I will contact you by phone, sometimes if this happens overnight I will simply call first thing in the morning and together we will make a plan that works for you.
What do we wear?
This is by far the most commonly asked question If you are the type of person that LOVES a cohesive look to your images then I would recommend choosing a colour palette and running that through the family. A couple of combinations are grey, navy and white OR natural earthy or beige tones look beautiful with cream Choosing 3 colours and alternating these in different combinations whilst bringing in everyone ' s personal style is one way to bring the family’s outfits together BUT,, colour coordinated and matching outfits are not for every family - you want to feel comfortable and look like yourselves so please do what is right for your family and personal taste. I do however recommend steering clear of fluro and large logos as these can be quite distracting in an image
How long does the session it take?
I aim for an hour but definitely don't time-keep to the very last minute. Your session will usually come to a natural end.
Help! One of the children has a grazed knee Can this be removed?
Yes of course, as part of the retouching process I will remove scratches, grazes and bruises that are visible
Do you offer payment plans?
I sure do! I offer payment plans via Zip Zip is interest free and spreads the cost over several weeks
