EMMANUEL KINGDOM BUILDERS 2025

At Emmanuel, our mission is to help everyone know Jesus, grow together, and live with purpose. Jodi and I are deeply passionate about bringing this vision to life through Kingdom Builders. We can be on mission with God around the globe through partnering in prayer, joining a Kingdom Builders Team, and/or practicing financial generosity. Emmanuel’s goal is for everyone, everywhere to experience the immense love of Jesus.
Kingdom Builders supports outstanding missionary partners and ministries both locally and globally. We find joy in praying for each partner and project, and we are continually inspired by the life-giving impact they provide to so many people as we join each of them in the work.
In this booklet, you will find statistics and numbers highlighting the difference your generosity makes. While numbers can seem impersonal, it is essential to remember that each figure represents people whose life has been changed by your giving. As the Emmanuel family grows and Kingdom Builders initiatives expand, we remain focused on making a lasting impact in lives both here at home and around the world. We are thrilled for those who feel led to give in 2025, whether it’s your first time giving above the tithe or you’re committing to a new level of generosity.
Each of us has a role to play, and Jesus has entrusted us with the mission of sharing the hope of His salvation with the world. It’s a privilege to be a light to the nations and to spread the Good News to Invest In The NEXT!
Pastors Nate and Jodi Ruch
Kingdom Builders encompasses three areas: Global Missions, Local Church Expansion & Outreach, and Future Christian Leader initiatives.
Kingdom Builders is Emmanuel’s strategic approach to funding missions, outreach, and equipping future leaders. A key element of Emmanuel’s mission statement is to live with purpose. We believe living a life of purpose involves using our resources to advance God’s kingdom through prayer, generous giving, and going.
Together, we partner with over 100 missionaries, ministries, and organizations who are doing strategic work among those who need it most. These ministries, because of your generous above the tithe giving, are reaching the lost, serving the poor, and changing the world!
A “creative access country” refers to a nation where practicing or sharing the Christian faith is heavily restricted or outright prohibited, requiring missionaries to adopt unconventional and “creative” methods to engage with local populations. In these countries, legal, social, or cultural barriers often limit activities such as conversion, public worship, or the distribution of religious materials. To navigate these restrictions, missionaries often focus on building relationships, offering humanitarian aid, teaching skills, or running businesses, all while respecting local laws and customs. Given the sensitive nature of their work, we take careful measures to ensure their safety by limiting the information we share to avoid putting them at risk. Here, we are honoring the 40+ partners we support who are serving in creative access countries.
Emmanuel is passionate about sharing the Gospel in places where the name of Jesus has never been heard. It’s staggering to realize that over 7,000 Unreached People Groups—representing 3.51 billion individuals—still have never heard the name of Jesus. An Unreached People Group is defined as a group of people that has less than 2% of Christians, no active church presence, and little to no access to the Bible in their native language. Globally, less than 5% of global mission funding is directed toward reaching these groups.
Thankfully, there are missionaries and organizations that have answered the call to reach the lost. Focus 7,000 and Bethany International – Engage Exponential are among the initiatives dedicated to reaching the world’s Unreached People Groups.
Kingdom Builders deeply desires to spread hope to the unreached and forgotten parts of the world, creating opportunities for people to encounter the radical love of Jesus for the very first time.
Kingdom Builders also partners with missionaries and organizations like Live Dead and The Great Himalayan Project. These incredible ministries are committed to bringing the Kingdom to some of the most unreached and under-resourced areas in the world through tangibly meeting needs, planting churches, and providing authentic community that reflects God’s great love.
We will continue striving to reach the lost until ALL nations have access to the Gospel and the hope of Jesus!
Abe, Jill, and their son Easton serve as Global Workers in the remote mountains of Southeast Asia. Their heart resonates with the words of Paul when he says in Romans 15:20, “My ambition has always been to preach the name of Christ where it has never been heard.” Through the Laos Life Center Children’s School, their business as a mission platform, they are doing just that! Daily, over 100 at-risk students find education through school scholarships, nutrition through daily hot meals, life in Christ through weekly discipleship groups, and a safe place to play games and just be kids! We are believing for pastors, teachers, and leaders to be raised up from among this amazing group of students to impact Unreached People Groups.
Thank you, Kingdom Builders, for sending us to the remote mountains of Southeast Asia to share the Message of Jesus with people groups who have never heard the name of Jesus, we believe they have waited long enough. The fruit that we are seeing is your fruit too because of your support through prayer and giving.
– Abe, Jill, & Easton
As followers of Jesus, we are mandated to shine the light of Christ into the darkest places of the world. Devastatingly, there are approximately 535 million Buddhists and nearly 1.2 billion Hindus, representing over 20% of the world’s population, that have never heard the Gospel.
God deeply cares about all people! We are called to pray for those who do not yet know Jesus. The Buddhist Hindu Priority believes that long-term spiritual fruit among these precious peoples requires Christian believers to practice the same personal ministry that Jesus used in His time on the earth. This priority emphasizes establishing the Church among all Buddhist and Hindu peoples everywhere. They promote the on-the-field needs for prayer partners, new global workers, and needed funds to accomplish the work.
The Buddhist and Hindu peoples need our prayers!
Change The Map is a prayer initiative with the goal of recruiting over 50,000 people who are willing to pray regularly for the Buddhist world. North Korea, Nepal, India, South Korea, and China have the highest concentration of Buddhists and Hindus. Would you consider joining their prayer movement and becoming a prayer partner? Let’s pray for the lost in these areas!
“Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”
Matthew 18:19-20
We cannot underestimate the power of prayer. Our Kingdom Builders Partners often share with us their genuine need for faithful prayer partners. When we submit our requests to the Lord, he is faithful to respond. And when we partner in prayer together in agreement with others, God can move mountains!
The Kingdom Builders Prayer Team is a powerful way for the Emmanuel Family to come together and support our incredible missionary partners and projects as we intercede on their behalf. We invite you to join our Kingdom Builders Prayer Team where you will receive monthly prayer focuses and testimonies!

“For this is what the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”
Acts 13:47
Nearly 20% of the global population (1.45 billion people) do not have a Bible in their first language. Fire Bible is a discipleship tool used by leaders throughout the world. This ministry has a mission to translate the Word of God in the top 100 languages of the world. This would resource 75% of the world’s population in their very own heart language.
One of the languages currently being translated into the Fire Bible is the Kazak language. There are 13 million Kazak speakers in the world, primarily located in Kazakhstan, China, Uzbekistan, Russia, and Mongolia. Only 2% of Kazaks are Christian, with 64% identifying as Muslim and 34% being Atheist. Despite this large population, this people group does not have a Bible in their native language. Fire Bible is committed to translating the Bible so that they can read the Word of God in their heart language and learn how much God loves them. In 2024 we began this project, and we have been a part of the amazing process of helping further this translation. We believe that through your generosity we will be able to complete this project in 2025 and have the whole Bible translated in the Kazak language.
Emmanuel Kingdom Builders is committed to meeting the needs of people in our local communities. We achieve this through two key initiatives. Our Community Outreach focuses on making a direct impact on the neighborhoods surrounding each of our locations. Through Community Partnerships, we collaborate with various local ministries to address needs throughout the Twin Cities. Additionally, Kingdom Builders partners with various ministries that provide a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals and families. These ministries offer comprehensive care, addressing the needs of the whole person and providing vital support in times of greatest need.
Door of Hope is dedicated to bringing generational healing to families and transforming individuals and communities through Christ’s power. They’ve been helping thousands of people worldwide experience healing from the deep trauma caused by abuse and neglect. This trauma often reverberates through generations, affecting both individuals and their communities. Through a variety of services, including support groups, prayer ministry, professional therapy, conferences, and workshops, they provide the tools and support necessary for healing. At Door of Hope, they believe that through God’s transformative power, lives can be restored, and each person can experience the profound healing only Christ can provide.
As a church, we have a unique opportunity to support the people we worship with each week. Kingdom Builders meets this need through the Samaritan Fund, which helps individuals and families in our congregation who are facing urgent financial challenges. Whether it’s providing assistance with bills, housing, or basic necessities, the Samaritan Fund reflects God’s love and care for His people. We can ensure no one in our church family faces hardship alone. This fund offers immediate support for those who qualify and reminds us that we are a community that looks out for one another, showing Christ’s love through action.
Ability Tree is dedicated to supporting families impacted by disability. With 1 in 5 children, 20% of families, and 1 in 4 adults affected by disability, these families often experience isolation, especially from their communities and local churches. In fact, 86% of families impacted by disability report not feeling welcome in their church environments. Ability Tree addresses this gap, offering a relational ministry model that comes alongside parents, caregivers, and individuals with disabilities. Through their relational model, Ability Tree serves both families and churches, equipping them to be more welcoming and inclusive. Welcoming and including people with disabilities is no longer optional—it is essential. Families’ lives are at stake, and through training and modifications to existing ministries, we can ensure that churches are places where everyone feels welcome. Together, when we make the church inclusive, we make Jesus accessible to all.
Kingdom Builders has a deep dedication to equipping the next generation of Christian leaders. From a young age, Emmanuel Kids are inspired to live with compassion and generosity through the Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge. As they learn about our amazing missionary partners, they are encouraged to give boldly and faithfully. Similarly, Emmanuel Youth actively support Speed the Light, an initiative that provides vehicles and essential equipment to missionaries on the front lines, empowering them to reach the lost with the Gospel.
Every year, Emmanuel Youth students can join one of Emmanuel’s Kingdom Builders Youth Teams. Kingdom Builders Youth Team Scholarships enable students to serve locally and overseas with our partners and experience evangelism, outreach, and ministry in unique cultural settings. These are powerful, life-changing experiences that can make an eternal impact in our students and in those whom they serve.
Another way Emmanuel Kingdom Builders invests in the next generation of Christian leaders is by supporting Christian higher education institutions. One Hope East Africa University, a private institution in Nairobi, Kenya, is dedicated to equipping students with the skills needed to advance the Gospel. The university takes pride in its training programs that cultivate servant leaders, blending academic excellence with spiritual, ministry, and character development. Their curriculum is intentionally designed to prepare students for impactful leadership in both faith and service.
Emmanuel Leadership College offers fully accredited college degrees through our partnership with Southeastern University, and students gain hands on ministry experience while thriving in our incredible student life community!
In the past year ELC has more than doubled in student enrollment, welcoming our largest incoming class since we launched in 2018! We’re continuing to see rapid growth and we’re so excited for how God is inspiring the next generation of students to be Kingdom Builders whether in the mission field or in the marketplace. We believe everyone has a purpose to live out the Great Commission, yet the way that God designs and equips each of us to do it is unique. We’re in the journey with students to help them discover their purpose while pursuing their education!

Each day, an estimated 6,200 children lose their lives due to causes related to undernutrition. Feed My Starving Children is dedicated to changing this heartbreaking reality, striving to ensure every child is nourished in both body and spirit. Their MannaPack meals, rich in essential nutrients, support the growth and development of children in need. By partnering with local food distributors and long-term ministries, Feed My Starving Children helps communities transition from immediate relief to sustainable growth and development. In doing so, they are fulfilling Jesus’ call to care for the vulnerable all around the world and meeting their most basic needs.
Convoy of Hope is a ministry that provides humanitarian aid, feeding the hungry and offering hope to communities in crisis. They swiftly reach even the most remote areas to deliver both practical assistance and the Good News of Jesus. Whether it’s providing clean water and shelter after a natural disaster, feeding a hungry child, or helping a family put food on the table, Convoy of Hope meets the urgent needs of those facing hardship, embodying the hands and feet of Jesus in their work.
Emmanuel has had the honor and privilege of supporting Convoy of Hope and many of their projects. In 2022, Convoy of Hope launched a Children’s Feeding initiative in Madagascar. With years of experience serving communities across Africa and a committed local team, they were confident they could make a meaningful impact. As the body of Christ, we continue to support them and their efforts to provide nourishment to thousands of children. This initiative’s goal was to feed 5,000, and a year later they feed 7,000 children at 39 program centers across the island, bringing hope and support to a generation in need. Generosity is growing, love is growing, compassion is growing, and most importantly, children in Madagascar are growing physically and spiritually.
Let’s keep praying for the continued spread of the gospel, that it may reach more hearts through the act of feeding children, through prayer, and through the safety and protection of all the children and those serving with Convoy of Hope partners. May God’s peace and provision be with them as they work to bring hope to those in need.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me...Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
Matthew 25:35-36, 40
Our world is in desperate need of freedom and healing. Thankfully, many ministries are offering practical programs that help individuals break free from these challenges and experience true transformation and hope.
Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge is an amazing ministry dedicated to helping men, women, and teens break free from chemical addictions and other life-controlling issues by addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Remarkably, 80% of their graduates report little to no relapse after completing the program, far surpassing the national average of 43% in other programs. We are grateful that many Teen Challenge graduates now call Emmanuel home, and we are honored to invest in the lasting impact this ministry has on so many lives.
Ministries like Union Gospel Mission are dedicated to meeting practical needs— such as food, shelter, education, and mental health support—to help break the cycle of addiction and homelessness. With a Gospel-centered approach of care and compassion, they empower individuals and families to restore hope, enabling them to dream again and experience healing and transformation through Christ.
Each year, approximately 2.3 million people are impacted by incarceration in the U.S. Many of these inmates are spiritually deprived, lacking access to the pastoral care and uplifting Christian resources that we often take for granted. The cycles of generational abuse, addiction, and imprisonment have persisted for far too long.
Our Kingdom Builder Partners, The Pando App and Fight to Forgive, are helping to break this cycle. Through the use of tablets, Pando offers inmates access to streamed sermons, worship music, devotionals, and a digital Bible. Emmanuel’s weekly messages are reaching behind bars, bringing hope where it’s needed most!
The Pando App is making a powerful impact, with over 450 facilities across 34 states and more than 420,000 tablets in use. Since its launch, Pando has seen 705,113 inmates surrender their lives to Jesus. In 2024, 476,386 inmates watched Emmanuel’s sermons and worship, and 519 of them gave their lives to Christ. Similarly, Fight to Forgive hosts seminars and programs to minister to those on death row. This ministry equips inmates to live a forgiven and forgiving life through Jesus Christ. True transformation is happening, even in the darkest places. The hope of Jesus is unstoppable!
An estimated 50 million people worldwide are currently trapped in human trafficking, including forced labor, forced marriage, and sexual exploitation. This tragic reality is both devastating and intolerable. Together we have the privilege of joining the fight against modern-day slavery. Kingdom Builders partners with several ministries who are dedicated to offering holistic healing to individuals who have been exploited. These ministries address the needs of the whole person, providing education, skills training, and the transformative hope of Jesus. Their work is centered on bringing freedom and justice to those in need.
Venture is committed to the belief that every person is made to live in freedom— both physically and spiritually. Operating in some of the world’s most underserved and least reached areas, they collaborate with local leaders to confront some of the most pressing injustices. Venture helps identify and rescue women and children at risk of violence and trafficking, provides food to the hungry, funds education programs that empower children to become future leaders, and ensures the health, safety, and autonomy of marginalized women, allowing them to live free from sexual exploitation and abuse.
Project Rescue envisions a world free from sexual slavery, where courageous women and children can experience true freedom as fully empowered sons and daughters of God. They are making a profound impact with a comprehensive approach that includes prevention through education, support for vulnerable families, rescue operations, and holistic restoration for survivors. Operating across Central and Southern Asia, Europe, and Africa, Project Rescue partners with local communities to rescue and restore women and children, offering healing and hope through the love and power of God.
Human trafficking is not just a global issue; it’s a pressing crisis here at home. In fact, the United States ranks among the top worst countries in the world for human trafficking. Free International is deeply committed to ending this epidemic within our borders. Through initiatives like Big Search events, where they collaborate with local law enforcement to actively search for missing children and adults, and by providing Christ-centered care that restores dignity to survivors, Free International is making a tangible difference in the lives of those exploited.
We’ve had the opportunity to send Kingdom Builders Teams to join Free International during their Big Search and even host a Big Search here in the Twin Cities. These teams have the opportunity to help search for missing kids while also sharing God’s love to those they come in contact with. We’re excited to continue our partnership with this organization and bring the lost home. Our vision is to see more individuals rescued from exploitation, both locally and across the nation.
2024 was a record-breaking year for Emmanuel Kingdom Builders Teams, with an extraordinary number of young people and adults joining Kingdom Builders teams and traveling to various locations across the globe. Our mission is to truly go EVERYWHERE, reaching communities locally and globally. It’s our desire for everyone who calls Emmanuel home to take the exciting step in their faith journey by becoming part of a Kingdom Builders Team. These teams provide opportunities to serve alongside our global partners, engaging in evangelism, outreach, and ministry in diverse cultural contexts. Whether serving locally or overseas, these trips are powerful, life-changing experiences that not only impact those we serve but also leave a lasting, eternal mark on the hearts of those who participate.
Ben & Belu Grams are one of our partners and Kingdom Builder Teams hosts located in Argentina. They lead the River Plate Bible Institute, the largest residential Bible School in Latin America, training almost 1000 students from 19 nations each year to fulfill God’s call on their life. Their graduates are serving in Argentina and around the world.
It was a blessing for our team to be at the Instituto Bíblico Rio de la Plata in Buenos Aires, Argentina with Ben & Belu. As soon as you stepped on campus, you could feel God’s presence at work as students prayed and worshipped with their whole hearts, academically prepared for the plans God has for them, served joyfully, and loved each other like the family. We could sense the legacy of what God has done and look forward with excitement for what the future will be!

On August 17 our campus kitchen caught on fire and caused a lot of damage and destruction. By the grace of God, Emmanuel’s Kingdom Builders Team arrived on August 20 and were able to be among the first responders to help us clean the soot and start the renovation process. Despite the mission’s trip being planned months in advance, it came at a crucial time. They encouraged us and prayed over us. Kingdom Builders responded with extreme generosity that allowed us to repair the kitchen with better safety measures. Emmanuel was an answer to our prayers in very desperate times. Thanks to your generosity, we are able to continue training the next generation to have an impact for the Kingdom of God. This is possible thanks to Kingdom Builders!
Thank you, Kingdom Builders, for being an answer to our prayers in a time of crisis. Thank you for allowing our kitchen staff to return “home” and for helping us feed 250+ students per meal per day. Your generosity allows us to continue preparing the next generation to have an exponential impact for the Kingdom of God in Argentina and beyond. – Ben & Belu Grams
Legacy Projects are all about believing God for big dreams. These dreams will make a lasting impact on thousands in our community and across the globe for generations to come. When we unite in bold faith and Kingdom living, we can build a long-lasting legacy. Here are just a few of the God-sized dreams He has placed on our hearts for the future—ambitious, multi-million-dollar goals. If God is stirring in your heart to be part of resourcing one of these legacy projects, please email kingdombuilders@ emmanuelcc.org.
Our goal is to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community, creating a place where those who are hurting can find hope and healing. We desire to provide opportunities for individuals to rebuild and transform their lives. Through the Dream Center, we will offer essential tools, education, support, and a strong sense of community, all through a variety of programs designed to uplift and empower.
We aim to be a welcoming space where families in our community can come together to enjoy activities like fitness, recreation, after-school programs, and other resources that address the needs of those around us.
We value the responsibility of being faithful stewards of everything God has entrusted to us. Our aim is to pay down our debt more rapidly, building greater financial strength along the way. Our ultimate dream is to become debt-free, allowing us to invest more in ministry, missions, and the next generation to further God’s Kingdom.
