After doing research into the EPC rating of the three houses, the building was given a rating of F, and recommended changes were suggested such as introducing cavity wall insulation into the walls meaning it was highly lacking insulation which could lead to condensation building up in the interior walls and creating moisture, which can be seen in the youtube video tour available at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtggbTE2__Q&t=1s.
The rating suggested to consider installing secondary glazing indicating that the windows are only single glazed which does not make sufficient use of heat retention, which again leads to build up in moisture (MHCLG, 2013). Although there is not much data to reveal the inner materials and fabrics of the building, it is evident from videos of the interior that it was made mostly with timber and plasterboard, and fixed windows and sills were made of wood.
