Art and Design portfolio
In my art and design portfolio i have compiled a range of my favorite units over my art and design course as well as some outside pieces that i have completed based of my personal interests and interests in the course i will study at university. These are all works completed over the last 2 years, i hope my work shows my creative journey, my strengths and weaknesses and my personality, i hope you enjoy.
My inspiration
Fashion communication is a course I have chosen as an interest later on in my studies, i realised after wanting to study fashion design for so long that all the designers i followed, i focused more on the ways the clothes were presented to me through shoots and magazines, store layouts and media outlets, these are some of my inspirations:

At its highest
“It’s a woman’s right to control her own destiny, to be able to make choices without the Big Brother state telling her what she can and cannot do”
For this project that i completed outside of my artwork in my A level i have done a photoshoot based around the mood board of magazine articles by the magazine company “vogue” and their many issues advocating for womens strength/women's right. I have used inspiration from the angles, compositions and mood to create a cover which reflects the problem of women's right in countries such as the U.S.

CHANEL
Through the years
This is another project that i completed outside of school. I practised the composition of models and the angles of illustrating croquis so that I had a better idea when I drew and painted them for the final outcome. These two were inspired by 2 different ready to wear seasons in chanel, one from the year i was born(2005) and the other from the upcoming ready to wear spring show in 2023. I did this to compare the two different chanel designers styles and the ways it has changed with different fashion decades.

Unit 4 - For this project we had to create a range of moodboards and samples/partial treatments from artists inspiration for the theme ‘fashioned by nature’. The final project was to create a croquet that fits the criteria ‘fashioned by nature’ and our relationship with nature, these final pieces are presented above.

Unit 13A New Skin
Mood boards design
For this unit we had to create a mask that could merge with a humans characteristics
For this unit of work we had several projects on different photography pieces to experiment which ones we would eventually use in our final piece, these photographs show a range of photography types and techniques.
Unit 3 - photography
quality in relation to this theme of the merge/morph of humans with animals in a mythical and psychedelic sense . The last image is my best shot from photoshoot 2 where i used my digital manipulation skills to portray the theme of therianthropy.

Contact sheets
For this exam unit we had to research and create a theme around ‘juxtaposition’ this was an independent an internally assessed task where we were allowed lots of creative freedom. I picked many contrasting themes between colours but also between natural elements and pure/impure elements.

Unit 3 - Ceramicsthe creative process
process
Unit 3 is an ongoing unit of work that i am yet to complete, however it has given me many transferable skills for the course i would like to study, i have took lots of time to have detailed, mature and creative presentation in this unit to display my creative process. For my final piece i will use inspiration from Thailand culture and the history of thailand patterns and shapes to create a tea set that would be practical and creative for a consumer.
