Habitation Through Time Kankakee River Wildlife Habitat seeking to recreate and reclaim spaces for wildlife on the kankakee river
Independent Studio Project with Professor John Clark This project centers around the idea of animal architecture, taking the techniques used by conservationists to build and create artificial refuges for animals and combining that with the design and beauty we put into our own buildings. Inspired by the natural landscape, the habitat evokes images of sweeping hills with fluid corridors imitating the natural flow of a river. The surface of the habitat carries a variety of textures, made to imitate the abundance of textures found in nature.

Shifting Erlanger House Addition expanding the functionality of the erlanger house connecting the indoors with the outdoors
Independent Studio Project with Professor Isabella Hillman Elaborating on the Erlanger House by Jack Baker, we were tasked with improving upon the practicality of the house as well as make improvements to the levels of privacy the house would provide to residents. Currently, the Erlanger House is owned by the School of Architecture and used as housing for guest lecturers, traveling professors, and a space to entertain guests in general.

Villa Planchart Precedent Study Independent Studio Exercise with Professor Isabella Hillman Villa Planchart was designed by Italian architect Gio Ponti and was completed in 1957. Built for the Planchart family in Caracas, Venezuela, the odd angles of the house allows for the hilltop view to be seen from multiple spots in the house. Additionally, the courtyard in the center allows for further connection between the indoors and outdoors.

Worlding Ricker Report Fall 2022 “OTHER WORLDS ARE POSSIBLE”
In collaboration with the Ricker Report Team The Ricker Report is an award winning independent architecture publication produced by the students of the Illinois School of Architecture. Dating back to 1953, this publication is one of the first student run architectural publications. It originally began as the Ricker Notes, a student-run periodical that contained student work, articles, and news regarding the school. The title of the publication refers to Nathan Clifford Ricker, the first graduate of an architecture program in the United States. As a member on the Graphic Design Team, I was in charge of the first feature, Architecture for Social Transformation: Comunal.
