I hold a degree in Communication from the Pedagogical University, complemented by specialized training in video and photography from the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication This blend of academic preparation and technical skills enables me to craft compelling narratives, analyze and structure information with clarity, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences across multiple platforms
I specialize in designing visually compelling and impactful materials for advocacy, including trifold flyers, brochures, and informational guides. My work focuses on communicating critical messages in a way that is clear, engaging, and accessible to diverse audiences. From promoting child safeguarding to raising awareness on community issues, I ensure that every piece of communication delivers its message effectively.
PROVIDING FORCOMMUNITIES THROUGHFAMILY STRENGTHENINGPROGRAM
The Family Strengthening Programme supports several families with kits for the conception of businesses in order to create income for families. This year, the peanut crusher has become quite popular among families. The program offered five machines to families so they could do business and generate income.
“With my machine, today I can support my family, I can buy school supplies for my children and nephews. In addition, I actively participate in two savings, one of which is the emergency savings, where we use the funds to buy school supplies for our children and pay for any unforeseen medical expenses,” says Felecidade, a local widow and participant of the program. About 588 people benefit directly from these funds in the different communities where the program is there providing and supporting families.
The familes have used their earnings to improve not only their lives, but also those close to them. Felecidade adds, “Before, people had to go to the market to get the peanut pulp, however, now they don’t need to travel kilometers because I have a machine here at home. And with that, I also increased my business volume, now I sell various food products.”
Like Felicidade’s family, there are 147 families distributed by Maxaquene A and B,Urbanizacão, Polana Caniço and Mafalala that have benefited from these support and opportunities, and in this way, guaranteeing sustenance and basic rights for children, such as education and decent food.
