In her current role as Senior Community Relations Specialist at Sanford Health, she has the privilege of managing relationships with hundreds of partners and nonprofit organizations in the Sioux Falls metro. Essig’s position allows her to lean on her years of experience in the nonprofit space to create innovative partnerships and collaborations between Sanford Health and the community at large. Having been on both the giving and receiving ends of philanthropic partnership, she understands the importance of intentional and dynamic collaboration for the greater good. She still enjoys dipping her toe into the fundraising space as a volunteer for the American Cancer Society Board of Ambassadors, Chamber Community Appeals, Sales & Marketing Executives of Sioux Falls, and Sioux Empire United Way. She is an active member of Downtown Sioux Falls Rotary and the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce’s Business Leaders Council, and is a graduate of Leadership Sioux Falls. Olivia is passionate about all nonprofit work, but is especially drawn to organizations like EmBe that lift up women and families. She has volunteered with EmBe as a coach for Let Me Run and as a mentor in the Women’s Leadership Program.

BEHIND EVERY GREAT WOMAN IS ANOTHER GREAT WOMAN WHO SUPPORTS AND UPLIFTS HER.

Our EmBe Coins of Greatness fundraising campaign is dedicated to empowering women by providing them with the resources and support they need to thrive. We believe that by uplifting women, we uplift entire communities.

HERE’S HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

DONATE: Stop at our table on the second floor to donate to EmBe’s mission of empowerment. Donate $50 or more to recieve a coin, or donate $100 or more to recieve a coin and a t-shirt. Then, take time to reflect on all the great women in your life.

SHARE YOUR STORY! Share on social media (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn) what the phrase, “Behind every great woman is another great woman” means to you. Invite others to be in your photo/video with the coin of greatness, or take a selfie! Use the hashtag #EmBeCoinsofGreatness and tag EmBe (Facebook – @EmBeSiouxFalls / Instagram – @embesf). If you have a private account on social media, make sure to set your post settings to public so we can highlight your story on EmBe’s page!

PASS IT ON: You have 48 hours (about 2 days) to pass the coin to another remarkable woman who embodies the spirit of EmBe and our mission to foster greatness in our community. As a reminder, please physically hand your coin to another woman so we can continue the ripple effect of greatness!

Behind every great woman is another great woman who supports and uplifts her. Together, we can create a ripple effect of greatness one coin at a time. FOR MORE INFORMATION, GO TO EMBE.ORG/COINS-OF-GREATNESS OR SCAN THE QR CODE
