CONCEPTUAL PLAN
CONCEPT
Embrace is a Farmingdale Project that looks to create community engagement and awareness through local theatre, artwork galleries, and native conservation. The Black Box Theatre finds itself spread across 1/4 acre of land east of Main Street. Employing curvature as a means of depicting the dynamic movement of light, incoming audiences are literally drawn inside each of the buildings curved facades. A combination of brick masonry, corten steel, and heavy timber are woven together to create a delicate sense of Embrace.
