A purpose-built MakerSpace devoted to encouraging the exploration of scientific concepts through play, experimentation, tinkering and technology.
• The welcoming Imaginarium, which is adjacent to the Atrium, opens out onto the new playground and courtyard area.
• The Imaginarium provides students with hands-on opportunities to develop their skills and broaden their interest in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics).
Donor support can be recognised on a plaque in a prominent position in the Imaginarium and their choice of name can be incorporated into the space’s name eg The Rashi Family Imaginarium.
Atrium Breakout Space & Function Centre

Students will gather in this substantial space for small group lessons, collaborative project work and extra-curricular activities. The Centre will be used for official school functions such as the HSC Visual Arts exhibition and New Parents Welcome evening.
• A capacious light-filled, multi-purpose space with direct, level access to the new playground.
• During wet weather, students will be able to meet and play together in the Atrium rather than stay in their classrooms.
• Important weekly events such as K-2 Assemblies and Kabbalat Shabbat services will be held here.

Collaboration & Leadership Centre

This multi-use centre will be a key area for students to work together to develop skills that will help them grow into future leaders and change makers.
• Large light filled space with a beautiful view out to the new playground and courtyard.
• Upper Primary students will use this space every day as a breakout learning and collaboration area.
• Activities including our Year 6 leadership development days and peer support meetings will be held in this Centre.

Tiered Courtyard

Overlooking the new playground, this landscaped area will providing terraced seating and areas for play and outdoor learning.
• This welcoming space will be used for relaxation, play and lessons, including Music, Drama and Hebrew activities.
• Outdoor areas, such as this Courtyard, are essential for our students’ physical and emotional wellbeing.

Playground

This playground will be the centre of activity during recess and lunch breaks and will be used for sports, games and other physical activities. Gan Shalom (Peace Garden)

This beautiful area, surrounded by mature trees and plants, provides students with the perfect space for meditation, reflection and relaxation.
The name, Gan Shalom, was chosen by our Primary students to express the sense of peace they feel when surrounded by nature.

Kindergarten Classrooms (2)

These purpose-built classrooms provide space for our youngest students to flourish. An operable wall means that the two classes can be combined for targeted group wtork or when celebrating chaggim and special days together. Those who prefer to read quietly or practise for a life on the stage have specific areas to discover.

Year 5 (3) and Year 6 (3) Classrooms

These three top-floor classrooms are highly flexible and can be configuered based on the format of the lesson and subject being studied. Operable walls between some of the classrooms can be retracted for large group work and then closed for concentrated and class-specific work.
