SPECTRA was founded in 1993 and consists of a core of eight inspired musicians who have been intensively working together for over two decades, thus creating a unique sound and musical coherence. Focusing on music from the last decade, SPECTRA contributes to the promotion of contemporary composers working and living in Flanders; both on the national and international music scene. With this recording SPECTRA celebrates its 20th anniversary, by focusing on works by composers they are particularly fond of.
