Senate confirmed Ketanji Brown Jackson
History and diversity In a historic event, the Senate confirmed Ketanji Brown Jackson, 51, as the new judge of the Supreme Court of Justice. Now, four of the court's nine judges will be women. Sonia Sotomayor (Hispanic), Elena Kagan and Amy Barrett are the other three. On the other hand, white men will no longer be the majority.
